I was 3-0 down against Chelsea as Spurs at halftime. I changed to this tactic and won 5-3. Great stuff!
This tactic is still performing absolutely brilliant for me ;) Started using it with Dorking Wanderers at the end of second season in the Vanarama National League after promotion first season with the Blue Blood Sword strikerless tactic. Won the playoffs and then with only free transfers and 11k wage budget won the League Two Championship. Now in League One with 37k wage budget, unbelievably we are second after 30 games to Derby who have a wage budget of over 500k lol also beat premier League Bournemouth 5-2 in Carabao Cup :)
I do tend to concede late goals quite often but i dont use opposition instructions or change the mentality much and all my players are 19-23 years old, so that may be the problem ;)

I've been using this tactic on the public beta patch and it should really be renamed 'Relentless Control', it dominates most matches, regaining possession quickly and either breaking swiftly or probing with passes, average 25 shots to opponents 5 or 6 with interesting corners and long throws :) My strikers dont seem to score much but we are still top goal scorers in the league and conceded only 6 goals all season' im playing with Foggia in Serie D where we were favourites but have played 34 w 28 d 5 L1 and beat Napoli 5-1 and inter 2-1 in friendlies with a new team ;)

Man I was on 19 place in premiere league and last match was a must win match against man utd and I used this tactic and won 4-2 with Southampton and escaped relegation .Thanks man it really worked 👍👍👍👍

By Top 6 he does not mean the 6 teams above him, but the 6 teams known for always finishing in the top 6, liverpool, man city and united arsenal spurs and chelsea.

This tactic looks weird but my first game went pretty good. Semi Final, Dutch cup, against Feyenoord with PEC Zwolle (bad club) a 1-2 win.

I have as great idea for you but I don’t know if it will work . Have all 92 clubs in one division play 38 games still . Every clubs fixture will be the 1 below them . Just would like to see what cauld happen after say 3 to five years thanks
Trying it on FM19 in 2038/39 got Farnham Royal Mavericks from the lowest tier to league champions by 2038.

Fantastic tactic. Came 6th in the Bundesliga.... with Aachen on the lowest budget of all teams in my second season. First season was 15th.
BUT - my strikers don't score much at all. I managed to get Arezo on a free transfer and it brakes my heart to not see him topping the goal scoring charts as he should. Any tweak to get him firing?

Unfortunately..it doest work for me..ive used it for 1 season coming from maldini doesnt tackle tactic.. i even used it 2 months b4 the previous season ended right up to pre season.. mybe my players loves the MDT tactic so much..😩
I had major success with the MDT tactic tho..mybe i need to a fresh sets of players 🤔

When I look at tactics like this it makes me realise the match engine is a mess because that tactic shouldn't work and wouldn't work in a real football match!

this tactic is pure cheat DD i change to this 2 days before match day against Liverpool i am with Leeds . no familiarity not even the players to support this tactic. i did it cuz i get tired to lose every game and get points only with draw :) guess what i win easy they only have more possession in middle this is my first win against a derby with big team
