I love podcasts! They’re one of my top digital sources for info and entertainment. However, I’m often reminded that there are still many people out there who don’t know what they are. In this episode, I share some quick tips to help beginners to understand, find, and
to start listening to podcasts.

I’m older than zip codes, so have gotten by in my Old School ways for way too long. I need to listen to a particular piece of info-yeah, a podcast-but have never done it. You just saved my day. Thank you for all this info. I help out a woman who has MS. She is at the point she can not use her hands or legs and uses a computer on her wheelchair to make phone calls, operate her tv… all using her eye movement to move the cursor. She was a teacher and loves to learn.I suggested she look into listening to podcasts that interest her, but I didn’t know where to begin. You have been so helpful!

Hey Mike,
I have recently started listening to Podcasts. I knew they were there, and I knew what they were, but I never really listened to any of them. I started listening to a motivational one, and it has been great. I have received some recommendations from both my sister and my niece, and I really hope to give them a try. I think podcasts are great and more people should listen to them. This video will definitely encourage people in this direction.

Thank you for your video answering most of my questions re: Podcasts. However my main question was Not answered. Do you have to pay for to listen to these podcasts? And if not, how does the Podcast creator make any money? With TH-cam one gets ads during the video unless they subscribe to TH-cam Red on a monthly basis and the Creator of the Videos makes money based off the revenue the ads bring in. However, how does that work with Podcasts?
