Jiraiya. While kakashi did very well, nagatos focus was divided between figthing kakashi, fighting other ninjas in konoha and collecting intel. Also, during kakashis fight all paths were active, meaning its possible the paths were at minimum power, while jiraiya had to fight a powered up version of the paths in the beginning of his fight

That’s not a good argument, some characters are better suited for facing larger groups of people more than others but that doesn’t make them weak by any means, it’s just a matter of their skill set not being suitable for certain things. For example, Itachi is easily one of the strongest in the verse but he’s not well when paired against multiple people in conjunction vs someone like say Naruto, but there’s instances where Itachi can defeat Naruto. The correlation isn’t always there.

Yes but Kakashi lost protecting Choji and the village and Jiraiyah lost with ma and pa helping him. Don't get me wrong, Jiraiyah with his summons is stronger than PAIN arc Kakashi but Kakashi's feats shouldn't be ignored.
Posting this before watching, I think story wise, Kakashi and Jiraya would've escaped but they would've been absolutely bodied, probably in a cast and that would've spooked the heck out of konoha and naruto
Pain "If Jiraiya had full knowledge of me, he would win".... Kakashi stealth plus IQ plus Jiraiya abilities, they can win high difficulty. Jiraiya also after getting jumped could have retreated in a frog but he decided to stay for some dumb honor reasons. Also I think Kakashi would figure out Pain faster and send his track dogs to find Nagato while they are fighting Pain bodies. Like I said, it can go either way, but they can def win.
People forget that Jiraiya fought a full powered Pain and Naruto and Kakashi both fought Pain after losing at least half of his strength due to Chibaku Tensei. Jiraiya is way closer to Sage Naruto than the community wants to admit
jiraiya is probably even stronger than sage naruto. at least pain arc sage naruto. he doesnt have a time limit, is probably immune to genjutsu due to ma and pa and his burning oil jutsu are seriously underrated. pain arc narito had alot of intel (thanks to jiraiya), alot moee summonings and still lost. the only thing naruto has going for him is the rasenshuriken. war arc sage naruto is a different breed though 😂

If it was them with no prep I'd give a 1 in 10 chance of winning but with prep it's with 8 or 9 out of 10. Their team is pretty insane. If you give kakashi a minute his plans a nearly flawless but given a few days or a week there's no telling what kinda plan he can whip up.

Yes, and Naruto had help the entire time, using the intel Jiraiya gathered in his fight. While he knew nothing at all fighting his opponents, and only lost after being blindsided, and jumped by all paths of pain at once.

Jiraya would need to start with sage mode or else they are screwed at that point in the story. Pain was Toying with jiraya and when he went serious jiraya had no chance at all. Kakashi even with a ton of back up lost to two pains and that was once again when pain is holding back wanting information on Naruto (which people constantly need to forget about to down play pain)

If they fight in the rain village where Pain can't go all out, I'm pretty sure Jiraya & Kakashi win. Also, thanks to the sharingan AND Jiraya's knowledges, they would discover Pain / Nagato's identity way faster. Kakashi will see that all path of pains have the exact same chakra and this information could help Jiraya a lot to piece things. There is also huge chances that Occular genjutsu would wreck Pain. I have no doubt that once they discover that all Pains share the same vision, Kakashi would immediately try to catch one of them in a genjutsu that will also catch the others.

As soon as Kakashi and Jiraya goes into the Hidden Rain they would get folded. Pain would know that they are in the village given his rain jutsu. They would be in an open field where they cannot run or anything. People forget that Pain allowed juraya to get to the tunnels.
I think it would actually be worse for these two because Pain would take the fight seriously from the beginning and come out with all Six paths. If that happens Jiraiya and Kakashi are dead period.

Pain stomps. Pain destroyed the Leaf Village with one attack. Kakashi was never close to beating Pain and Jiraiya only beat 3 of them separately because Pain held back. All 6 Pains going all out from the beginning is a stomp. Now if we are talking about War Arc Kakashi then they might have a chance at winning.

@@gameuniverse5973 Blitzing Bee is irrelevant here. Bee loses to Pain as well. Kakashi could only land Lighting Blade on Obito because they were in the Kamui dimension. And outside of the dimension he had help from KCM 2 Naruto and Guy, both of which are much stronger than Sage Jiraiya. So Kakashi’s feats against Obito will not be replicated against Pain with Jiraiya’s help. War Arc Kakashi is nowhere near KCM 2 level. You can’t scale them as relative based on the performance of one jutsu. Kakashi is not even close to as fast, he has no Sage chakra, and he has nothing on the level of a Biijuu Bomb or an avatar transformation and he has nothing like Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu. The amount of damage Lightning Blade does in the War Arc is irrelevant anyway. Even in the Pain Arc Lightning Blade can one shot any of the Pains if it lands. The problem is he is NOT landing it on 6 Pains before he gets taken out. He has no counter to Universal Pull or Universal Push or Chibaku Tensei. And if Kakashi uses Kamui to escape any of these attacks, Jiraiya will be dead. Kakashi can’t dodge attacks like Obito can. He needs to go completely onto the Kamui dimension so he would be leaving Jiraiya to die. Pain has far too many attacks that end the fight on the spot. Any attack from Kakashi is opening him up to be counter attacked. It took Sage Naruto, Ma and Pa, 3 giant Toad summons, and intel from Jiraiya just to get close to defeating a FATIGUED Pain. A full powered Pain fighting Jiraiya and War Arc Kakashi with no intel is a stomp.

I think they still lose. Pain has too much in his arsenal. And how are they stopping the dog? The summons etc? Pain has SM Naruto level paths that is too much for these two below SM Naruto fighters.
I think it’s possible but perhaps the biggest factor is location. In a wide open plain with lines of sight that go on for miles it’s virtually impossible to get close to the paths thanks to their wide arsenal and linked vision, however take say Amegakure with the various alleyways and buildings acting as vision blockers both Jiraiya and Kakashi can strategically come up with choke points and strategies to get the paths away from one another. The last thing you want as a group of people is to be confined to a tighter, enclosed area with little space to go, eventually your own men become obstacles. Now how they’ll do this exactly I’m not sure but with Kakashi’s intellect and Jiraiya’s hax, who knows they might just have it in the bag, albeit barely.
The argument here is kakashi and jiraiya vs just tendo. But this wouldn’t happen. When jiraiya went into sage mode pain sensed the threat and summoned 2 more paths. If it’s kakashi and jiraiya he would simply assemble all 6 and that’s GG in pains favor. Pain is way too overpowered he hit kakashi with one or two pushes and he was kinda cooked. And let’s say kakashi did kill tendo in that moment it wouldn’t had even mattered because you would have to kill the pain that can reanimate them as well. Kakashi really didn’t stand a chance against the 6 paths of pain either did jiraiya. Jiraiya needed to gather sage mode then needed help from ma and pa who are probably more powerful than kakashi. I really think once jiraiya goes into sage mode Kakashi is kinda in the way unless he’s sniping with kamui or hiding waiting for chances to get sneak hits but with no intel at all I don’t see that happening. Pain was so powerful he pushed the 3 giants toads from the center of the village to the outside of the village and gamabunta stated every bone in his body was broken and this is an attack tendo can pretty much spam.

Kakashi fought two pains and lost more than half of his chakra. Kakashi didn't even take out One of the pains. Naruto took out the same pain that took chozu's fist, and kakashi's lightning blade. And he could still move. Threatening choji's life. Not to mention how kakashi had help from about 6 ninjas. From the beginning. Kakashi also had some intel about the rinnegan abilities, and pain. Jiraiya had no information about the rinnegan abilities as he fought them with three bodies. And fought them closer to Nagato real body enhancing his control over the bodies, as well as his power. Home field advantage. Jiraiya still managed to kill three pains. Even after the three pains were resurrected, his arm got cut off, He managed to capture One of the pains, and rekill them taking their body to Kona High to be examined. Jiraiya did better. Jiraiya fought better. Jiraiya had less information. There is a reason why kakashi looked up to him. Let's stop the cap 🧢
I've always said that what Kakashi did against the Deva Path is his version of Minato beating Orange Mask Tobi. They both had to face an opponent with at least relative stats and insanely powerful, unbeforeseen hax. They both had to figure out how to get around this hax that seems invincible at first glance. Only difference is that Pain probably had better stats than Kakashi but he still would have been in trouble in the 1v1. Don't fuck with Konoha

I think they lose. As you've established Kakashi (w some intel) was fighting a fatigued/weaker( thanks to nagato being far away) deva path. He certainly put up a good fight, but as soon as asura showed up he got clapped. And jiraya while he managed to fight with a few of the weaker paths got clapped as soon as the stronger paths showed up. Even if you use math to be like jiraya fought 4, kakashi fought 2, 4 + 2 = 6 so they win, you gotta factor in that when theyre together they're way more threatening. Like konohamru was able to beat one of the weaker paths but i doubt hed be able to if all 6 were there. Here they're fighting the paths at their strongest w no intel. Pain wins mid- high diff.
On the ending statement i think in a pitch decision it's as likely thay Kakashi uses kamui to sacrifice himself as Jiraiyah because they both did, if Kakashi did things would be very different not necessarily for the better. It would be an interesting timeline though.
Literally , cause he clearly was sandbagging on Jariyah until he pulled out frog song and even then we later learned ( same episode ) that pain summoned Narraka when he heard the frog song being put into play

Let me humble you, the pains jiraya was fighting where the weaker paths that's true but they where in the rain village therefore they where stronger than in the leaf, also nagato was only fighting jiraya and focusing on the fight while against Kakashi he was fighting the whole village while also fighting Kakashi. The pains VS jiraya where trying to kill him from the beginning while the once VS Kakashi wanted information about Naruto and not just to kill him. The pains VS jiraya where closer to nagato therefore stronger and jiraya was fighting more paths and beat more of them. There is even more against Kakashi being more impressive, like pain knowing the ability's of jiraya as he was his mentor but I'll leave it at that.

These 2 are a good combo. But i think pain gets it. Diva path can almight push. And right after. Then the one can summon the chimera dog. Then the one that can absorb stuff can ride the dog to protect it. The one that shoots rockets can can hang back be a distraction and protect the one that can revive the othere and the rest and do whatever.

Edo infinite chakra + perfect Susanoo is too busted. Maybe they'd had better chance against the alive, before death/Rinnegan Madara. At least they have a chance at attrition.
Sage Mode Naruto is drastically weaker than Pain. He was saved by the 9 tails takeover and Pain could have killed if he didn’t do the speech and if he didn’t need to extract the 9 tails

i tend to not like comic book v manga fights because of how different they are Comics tend to have multiple writers that yes are normally somewhat consistent with each other then you have outliers on either side, then you have the different eras of characters where characters show wildly crazy feats because that was the style back then, and then you have some times when the characters are portrayed to be much weaker than Normal to seem more relatable. while Manga has one writer one editor and one story with one rather consistent power curve.

So we don't know if Jiraiya>Itachi but nothing contradicted it being true from part 1 until Itachi had infinite chakra, no illness, was immortal and had no blindness. I wouldn't be shocked if it turned out Pain>Jiraiya>Itachi>Oro. With Kakashi by his side in the Pain arc I can see Kakashi himself giving Oro a good fight let alone a team up. The only thing Oro has is a boastful statement made by himself saying he's always been stronger than Jiraiya when he clearly didn't even know he had sage mode seeing as it's never brought up. @ I didn’t count help for this same reason, but you could argue ma and pa count as jiraiya’s summonings which is just a part of his arsenal. And one could argue pain wasn’t at his 100% because he had already used his strongest attack a couple times by then. And kakashi was already out of Chakra mid fight which wasn’t even that heated by then. One of the worst things about how they write his character because bro’s one chidori away from passing out right till the war arc where they forget about that. Strongest or not, that path was handling kakashi mid diff at most. And weaker paths or not jiraiya had to fight a couple of them twice because he had already between them and then they got brought back so if anything he fought even more paths

The bigger Naruto powerscaling channels seemed to always have a hate boner towards him and constantly treat him like a joke, but no one wants to talk about the fact that this man took out 3 paths of pain in a single attack and then later took out a 4th again with no intel on his opponent whatsoever. Also the fight got bad for him once he lost his arm, but there's a possibility if he knew about pains revival ability he wouldn't have lost it since he wouldn't have let his guard down, likely pulling out the control rods before going on to fight the other 3 with both arms intact.

Still haven´t seen the whole video but just to give an opinion on who did better against Pain, I belive it´s close, Jiraya did fight more paths at once and deafeted but Kakashi fought the two strongest ones, and while Tendo definately wasn´t super serious from the get go he is so far above the rest of the paths that it doesn´t matter much. However I think is important to give Jiraya props for taking the animal path out after he was met with all six paths, the "Jiraya fought six of them" statement is kinda flawed because he didn´t really face them head on, but was crafty enough to capture the animal path and finish him off, so in a sense there was some chess playing on Jiraya´s part too. But in the end I´ll have to give it to Kakashi because Jiraya didn´t have to face Tendo´s power (and we can confirm that by the fact that Fukasaku didn´t know what the ability was), and despite having some support we know Kakashi had some strategy to fight the ability head on given his statement, altough it probably would not have worked in the end, like you guys said just the fact this Kakashi can somewhat press the strongest Pain is a really underated feat, Pain Arc Kakashi is definately Sanin level, who would win between him and Sage Jiraya is another story and deserves it´s own separete discussion, but still to this day uderestimating this Kakashi is very stupid

Posting this before watching, I think story wise, Kakashi and Jiraya would've escaped but they would've been absolutely bodied, probably in a cast and that would've spooked the heck out of konoha and naruto
Pain "If Jiraiya had full knowledge of me, he would win".... Kakashi stealth plus IQ plus Jiraiya abilities, they can win high difficulty. Jiraiya also after getting jumped could have retreated in a frog but he decided to stay for some dumb honor reasons. Also I think Kakashi would figure out Pain faster and send his track dogs to find Nagato while they are fighting Pain bodies.
Like I said, it can go either way, but they can def win.

Jiraya would need to start with sage mode or else they are screwed at that point in the story. Pain was Toying with jiraya and when he went serious jiraya had no chance at all.
Kakashi even with a ton of back up lost to two pains and that was once again when pain is holding back wanting information on Naruto (which people constantly need to forget about to down play pain)

If they fight in the rain village where Pain can't go all out, I'm pretty sure Jiraya & Kakashi win.
Also, thanks to the sharingan AND Jiraya's knowledges, they would discover Pain / Nagato's identity way faster. Kakashi will see that all path of pains have the exact same chakra and this information could help Jiraya a lot to piece things. There is also huge chances that Occular genjutsu would wreck Pain. I have no doubt that once they discover that all Pains share the same vision, Kakashi would immediately try to catch one of them in a genjutsu that will also catch the others.
The rinnegan is supposed to be impervious to genjutsu though

As soon as Kakashi and Jiraya goes into the Hidden Rain they would get folded. Pain would know that they are in the village given his rain jutsu. They would be in an open field where they cannot run or anything. People forget that Pain allowed juraya to get to the tunnels.

@@gameuniverse5973 Blitzing Bee is irrelevant here. Bee loses to Pain as well. Kakashi could only land Lighting Blade on Obito because they were in the Kamui dimension. And outside of the dimension he had help from KCM 2 Naruto and Guy, both of which are much stronger than Sage Jiraiya. So Kakashi’s feats against Obito will not be replicated against Pain with Jiraiya’s help.
War Arc Kakashi is nowhere near KCM 2 level. You can’t scale them as relative based on the performance of one jutsu. Kakashi is not even close to as fast, he has no Sage chakra, and he has nothing on the level of a Biijuu Bomb or an avatar transformation and he has nothing like Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu.
The amount of damage Lightning Blade does in the War Arc is irrelevant anyway. Even in the Pain Arc Lightning Blade can one shot any of the Pains if it lands. The problem is he is NOT landing it on 6 Pains before he gets taken out. He has no counter to Universal Pull or Universal Push or Chibaku Tensei. And if Kakashi uses Kamui to escape any of these attacks, Jiraiya will be dead. Kakashi can’t dodge attacks like Obito can. He needs to go completely onto the Kamui dimension so he would be leaving Jiraiya to die.
Pain has far too many attacks that end the fight on the spot. Any attack from Kakashi is opening him up to be counter attacked. It took Sage Naruto, Ma and Pa, 3 giant Toad summons, and intel from Jiraiya just to get close to defeating a FATIGUED Pain. A full powered Pain fighting Jiraiya and War Arc Kakashi with no intel is a stomp.

I think it’s possible but perhaps the biggest factor is location. In a wide open plain with lines of sight that go on for miles it’s virtually impossible to get close to the paths thanks to their wide arsenal and linked vision, however take say Amegakure with the various alleyways and buildings acting as vision blockers both Jiraiya and Kakashi can strategically come up with choke points and strategies to get the paths away from one another. The last thing you want as a group of people is to be confined to a tighter, enclosed area with little space to go, eventually your own men become obstacles. Now how they’ll do this exactly I’m not sure but with Kakashi’s intellect and Jiraiya’s hax, who knows they might just have it in the bag, albeit barely.

The argument here is kakashi and jiraiya vs just tendo. But this wouldn’t happen. When jiraiya went into sage mode pain sensed the threat and summoned 2 more paths. If it’s kakashi and jiraiya he would simply assemble all 6 and that’s GG in pains favor. Pain is way too overpowered he hit kakashi with one or two pushes and he was kinda cooked. And let’s say kakashi did kill tendo in that moment it wouldn’t had even mattered because you would have to kill the pain that can reanimate them as well. Kakashi really didn’t stand a chance against the 6 paths of pain either did jiraiya. Jiraiya needed to gather sage mode then needed help from ma and pa who are probably more powerful than kakashi. I really think once jiraiya goes into sage mode Kakashi is kinda in the way unless he’s sniping with kamui or hiding waiting for chances to get sneak hits but with no intel at all I don’t see that happening. Pain was so powerful he pushed the 3 giants toads from the center of the village to the outside of the village and gamabunta stated every bone in his body was broken and this is an attack tendo can pretty much spam.

Kakashi fought two pains and lost more than half of his chakra. Kakashi didn't even take out One of the pains. Naruto took out the same pain that took chozu's fist, and kakashi's lightning blade. And he could still move. Threatening choji's life. Not to mention how kakashi had help from about 6 ninjas. From the beginning. Kakashi also had some intel about the rinnegan abilities, and pain.
Jiraiya had no information about the rinnegan abilities as he fought them with three bodies. And fought them closer to Nagato real body enhancing his control over the bodies, as well as his power. Home field advantage. Jiraiya still managed to kill three pains. Even after the three pains were resurrected, his arm got cut off, He managed to capture One of the pains, and rekill them taking their body to Kona High to be examined.
Jiraiya did better. Jiraiya fought better. Jiraiya had less information. There is a reason why kakashi looked up to him. Let's stop the cap 🧢

I think they lose. As you've established Kakashi (w some intel) was fighting a fatigued/weaker( thanks to nagato being far away) deva path. He certainly put up a good fight, but as soon as asura showed up he got clapped. And jiraya while he managed to fight with a few of the weaker paths got clapped as soon as the stronger paths showed up. Even if you use math to be like jiraya fought 4, kakashi fought 2, 4 + 2 = 6 so they win, you gotta factor in that when theyre together they're way more threatening. Like konohamru was able to beat one of the weaker paths but i doubt hed be able to if all 6 were there. Here they're fighting the paths at their strongest w no intel. Pain wins mid- high diff.

Let me humble you, the pains jiraya was fighting where the weaker paths that's true but they where in the rain village therefore they where stronger than in the leaf, also nagato was only fighting jiraya and focusing on the fight while against Kakashi he was fighting the whole village while also fighting Kakashi. The pains VS jiraya where trying to kill him from the beginning while the once VS Kakashi wanted information about Naruto and not just to kill him. The pains VS jiraya where closer to nagato therefore stronger and jiraya was fighting more paths and beat more of them. There is even more against Kakashi being more impressive, like pain knowing the ability's of jiraya as he was his mentor but I'll leave it at that.

i tend to not like comic book v manga fights because of how different they are Comics tend to have multiple writers that yes are normally somewhat consistent with each other then you have outliers on either side, then you have the different eras of characters where characters show wildly crazy feats because that was the style back then, and then you have some times when the characters are portrayed to be much weaker than Normal to seem more relatable. while Manga has one writer one editor and one story with one rather consistent power curve.

Oro with arms is still below Sage Jiraiya unless he goes hydra. Even then we don't know that increase. Statements and showings confirm Itachi>Oro. Pain>Itachi. Pain>Jiraiya. So we don't know if Jiraiya>Itachi but nothing contradicted it being true from part 1 until Itachi had infinite chakra, no illness, was immortal and had no blindness. I wouldn't be shocked if it turned out Pain>Jiraiya>Itachi>Oro. With Kakashi by his side in the Pain arc I can see Kakashi himself giving Oro a good fight let alone a team up. The only thing Oro has is a boastful statement made by himself saying he's always been stronger than Jiraiya when he clearly didn't even know he had sage mode seeing as it's never brought up. And kakashi was already out of Chakra mid fight which wasn’t even that heated by then. One of the worst things about how they write his character because bro’s one chidori away from passing out right till the war arc where they forget about that.
Strongest or not, that path was handling kakashi mid diff at most.
And weaker paths or not jiraiya had to fight a couple of them twice because he had already between them and then they got brought back so if anything he fought even more paths
@@sergiobeteta2789 no opinion on the Kakashi part but I'm glad someone is talking about how many paths Jiraiya fought. The bigger Naruto powerscaling channels seemed to always have a hate boner towards him and constantly treat him like a joke, but no one wants to talk about the fact that this man took out 3 paths of pain in a single attack and then later took out a 4th again with no intel on his opponent whatsoever. Also the fight got bad for him once he lost his arm, but there's a possibility if he knew about pains revival ability he wouldn't have lost it since he wouldn't have let his guard down, likely pulling out the control rods before going on to fight the other 3 with both arms intact.

Jariyah killed 3 paths, then managed to 1v 6 and killed another of screen. This is not to mention there very close to Nagato meaning there stronger than the versions nature fought.

Still haven´t seen the whole video but just to give an opinion on who did better against Pain, I belive it´s close, Jiraya did fight more paths at once and deafeted but Kakashi fought the two strongest ones, and while Tendo definately wasn´t super serious from the get go he is so far above the rest of the paths that it doesn´t matter much. However I think is important to give Jiraya props for taking the animal path out after he was met with all six paths, the "Jiraya fought six of them" statement is kinda flawed because he didn´t really face them head on, but was crafty enough to capture the animal path and finish him off, so in a sense there was some chess playing on Jiraya´s part too. But in the end I´ll have to give it to Kakashi because Jiraya didn´t have to face Tendo´s power (and we can confirm that by the fact that Fukasaku didn´t know what the ability was), and despite having some support we know Kakashi had some strategy to fight the ability head on given his statement, altough it probably would not have worked in the end, like you guys said just the fact this Kakashi can somewhat press the strongest Pain is a really underated feat, Pain Arc Kakashi is definately Sanin level, who would win between him and Sage Jiraya is another story and deserves it´s own separete discussion, but still to this day uderestimating this Kakashi is very stupid
