Jenny, thank you for the honest and real content. I always enjoy your videos because you are so genuine. Your honesty of your knitting and the products you use are refreshing, no pretense. Good or bad you are honest. Please keep it going. It's like you are sitting in my living room chatting about knitting with me. Happy holidays and relax. No need to give in to the "crazies/chaos" of this time of year. Be good to yourself.

"my life is going up in flames" that is a lot... Take care of your self, have a nap and put down the flames. holiday season is stressful for me too. I am happier once is all finished
About painful knits, I am doing the Jules Gernsey in ONLY mohair in 3 mm. It is my Xmas sweater and I hope i will finish it. LOL I have just separated the sleeves. Cheers to Shortest Day!

Omg I love the pink contrast zipper. That’s beautiful and such a good idea.

So many beautiful knits. Blue yarn has a tendency to bleed. Maybe when you block it, add vinegar to the water to set the color.

Just wanted to offer encouragement to make a hot pink Agnete cardigan!💪 I’ve been really enamored with all of the hot pink yarns out there, too. And I’ve been wanting to make a November jacket and/or Agnete cardigan for a while but it’s definitely hard to gather the strength to commit and do it.

Oooh, that's a great idea. The Agnete cardigan was my first time knitting brioche and I thought it would take many months to complete. I completed my sage green Agnete in a month and after many months off, I'm ready to make another brioche cardigan. Maybe another Agnete, a November jacket or the Seasons Cardigan by Ozetta. Would be nice to have a brioche KAL.

You always make me laugh, love your perspective on knitting. I’m very different, my most used needle is 3.25 for a start.. With brioche, if you don’t know where you are try tinking back stitch by stitch for a bit, that way you’ll see which yarn ( if you’re doing 2colour) and also if you’re doing brioche knit or brioche purl, just by following the yarn path. I was really bad at brioche to start, I’m a lot better now but still have problems if I have to ladder down to fix a stitch. If you’re starting 2 colour brioche in the round, like a hat, will be easier than flat and should help you to see what’s happening with the stitches. Xx

If you don't like using cabling needles, try using hairpins! You can pick up the stitches you're supposed to swap and just let the pin fall because it'll keep the yarn trapped. Plus they're lightweight and don't get in the way of your work

I hope everything is ok with you and wish you a great x-mas.
Also your yarn on the heater and that electricity cable from your lamp on it is not really safe….

I’m sorry I am getting distracted, but isn’t it a fire hazard to put yarn on top of a fire place thingy? 😅

I have knit the Agnete cardigan and I was very apprehensive about it because it was my first brioche pattern. However, I was so mesmerized by it that I had to give it a shot. Yes, the needle size is very small, but that's because the end product is very squishy. Even as a first timer with brioche knitting a large size, it took me about a month to complete and that included hours fixing errors.
And you are correct; understanding how to fix brioche makes it a lot less daunting. I found a few videos on here that were very helpful. If you decide to knit the Agnete, I would love to do a KAL as I want to make another one.
