This hero talent tree definitely lands closer to the "incomplete" side of things, but when the RNG is on your side it can SLAM AOE damage! Will this keep cat weaving alive in the war within?

Excited to see the potential for catweaving in TWW with Wildstalker. Right now its hard to balance consistent damage output and healing together in M+
It looks like its still a bit clunky but should be rewarding when it all comes together. Thanks for taking the time to explore and share your experience!
I personally think it's underlined a bit in the healing department. I have another druid video scheduled to post soon and I'll be honest, it was brutal to record because I just think their numbers are low on the beta.
But once that gets settled, it has crazy potential!
It would if Dream of Cenarius talent worked like Monks ancient Teachings, other than that i don't actually see cat form useful. It's just healers not healing and risking people dying to do some dmg
I did see a problem with resto druid tho, that you now need the double amount of keybinds due not swapping forms anymore. Also the leap back ability that we got from moonkin form is not available anymore.
Yeah wild charge did get a little screwed, but for keybinds I found a way around it. I use 4 for lifeblood but when in cat form it casts rake, so I just made them both into a macro so it lifeblooms when hovering a health bar, but if I'm in melee it will cast rake and swap me to cat form!
@@LBNinja7 Thanks for the tips! I'm just not sure where to put my 4 damage abilities now. I just pressed 1 key bind to go to Moonkin form and then press my 4 (moonkin) damage abilities. I had a cancel aura so i didn't had gcd on the switch and never saw it as an issue, more as a + cause you get the extra bars. Not sure where to put em now, and feels like blizzard didn't give this a thought either, since wild charge just disappeared! Perhaps it was better if resto would automatic go to Moonkin when pressing moonfire, sunfire, wrath or starfire! instead of removing the form all together.
@@minoesch8033 This was something I was also worried about too. Druid action bars are already very crowded as is. I guess we'll have to get comfortable with help/harm macros or something until the community solves what's optimal?
@@elitecowtv The only solutioni have right now is to use clique, as you can now make it hoover enemy bar to dps but it didnt felt optimal.
I don't like it TBH, i was hoping it worked like Ancient Teachings Fistweavings, so we could do healing the % of dmg in cat form. That would of been so much more fun, than needing to basically swap out of casting heals, to DPS, in higher keys people take too much dmg to every stop healing and switch into dps form enough to make it worth doing

Dream of Cenarius not procing on bleed dmg is really bad because the first thing you want to do is apply a few rake and a big rip and there you go you wasted half the buff duration casting spell that are not taken into account
Yeah it was really hard to think of what exactly was making it play kinda clunky, but you put it perfectly! This could REALLY simplify this playstyle a ton instead of limiting your options. Even ferocious bite not triggering it is weird

Good video. I always though resto druid dps will be on monking, but feral give the surprise. The damage is ridiculous.
Yeah I think there are ways that theyre also trying to push owlweaving, and it very much could be strong in TWW!

My thoughts exactly, Blizz could of made it similar to Monks Ancient Teachings, where your damage heals for a %, but instead they have given Druids basically a reason to not heal allies and do DPS instead..
They do heal for a % of dmg dealt in this spec. But if you want a healer that heals through dmg then a monk or disc priest might be better for you. Rdruids have always played like this with high APM game play preparing for damage proactively rather than reactively. The idea is you prep hots and ramp heal when high damage output is expected, place bleeds up and ramp damage in downtime.
"a lot of healer damage" which is not a lot then ....
When comparing it to the hpal burst it is a bit lacking, but I also factor in how fast things die on the beta and how much our bleeds weren't able to shine!
