I truly loved this video. Now I understand what it means to be happy, what everyone wants to feel every moment of everyday. If you allow yourself to completely and utterly let go of everything, to completely empty and relax your mind and basically just not think a thing. To not be trapped by all the thoughts running through your head, good and bad. Let all of it go and simply just Exist. Simply focus your mind on the present moment. Simply just exist. If you do this, then you slowly become more aware of the present moment, your consciousness grows more and more and you are able to do things, your able to make new memories and simply be free and your natural self comes through because no previous thought or feeling is depicting your behavior. Your simply just existing. If you ask yourself why that person seems so happy, what do they do to be that way? It is because they aren’t fighting with themselves, they are at peace, at bliss, they love and value themselves, they are doing things that make them happy, that’s why they’re happy! It’s because they are free. If you simply just let go, let it all go, and just exist, you’ll find peace. Let go of the past, appreciate the present, and look forward to the future. Say and do the things that make you happy, that feel natural to you,
He’s absolutely spot on. I remember when I was a kid how happy I was. But as I continuously got in trouble for little things that don’t matter the awareness of all I am began to get more cluttered year after year. Luckily I kept finding the humor in life and the laughter kept me enough on track to where being happy was more important than all of the bs they kept trying to shove down my throat. Now I am dedicating more effort into achieving the goals that I love to do.
In a near death experience, my first thought was.....life’s all a dream and we think it’s real. And then....But this is the real thing...not life in the body. It made me laugh as it seemed funny that I had never realised this before. This was 1987 and has stayed with me since.
Mieke- And it's exactly what ancients (certain Hindu/ Buddhist, ancient philosophers) have said for thousands of yrs, life, as we know it, is kind of an illusion or dream. Maya they call it. Not a pointless stupid dream, more a practice round, to get us ready for the more real" reality to come, so to speak.
Remember the space within that Connect's with everything.
Call upon the wisdom of the knowledge of our ancestors..
In that infinite council.... in that hidden sacred divine depth ... We remember pure truth..
That realization is shocking, not because it is hard to believe, but more because it is astounding we have been able to forget so completely.
I had a brief NDE as a child and when that forgotten knowledge hit me in an instant, my first thought was, "Of course! How could I have forgotten that?"

Yeah, we are listening all right. And, we all have judgments. Like it or not it's hardwired by evolution to save our butts when we need it. Excessive and petty judgment coming from a bored mind can be harmful, of course. But, it's a blessing in some cases. For instance, it can keep you from giving all your money and time (by far the more valuable) to a charlatan. If you cannot differentiate between those you should trust and those you shouldn't, I would argue that you do indeed have a lot to lose. There are plenty of "gurus" on TH-cam that are preaching well-hashed "truths" that are more benign than this guy. Ok, that was a bit soapbox-ranty, sorry.. nothing personal to you, as I don't know you, but just my two cents.
Who is he to think he KNOWS what's going on?
I have been doing this for months but I could not quit get there. I then found out about reprogramming you subconscious. After just three days of positive self talk I was able to repair a life time of negative programming. Now when I do this exercise I feel so much better. The subconscious is our connection to other dimensions. You can not get there if it is damaged.
I did that little exercise of imagining Who I would be if I had no memory .
Total silence . Peace .
Than in pops a memory of my Mother is law . This was how she was when she stepped into dementia . I think it was the First time She ever felt peace . She was not fighting it at all . She embraced it . I was glad I got to witness this aspect of choice . 💚👍🏼💚✌🏼💚👍🏼💚✌🏼💚

I read another comment that this guy has gone 'off the rails' compared to his earlier videos. I don't agree. I think this is someone who has been rocked by the truth. It's common for people to abide in divine bliss upon first awakening (as in his earlier videos), and then enter into a 'dark night of the soul' as the full magnitude of that awakening shatters the ego.
I think it may have been wise for him to have waited until the awakening matured a bit before teaching (as Eckhart Tolle would advise), but this guy is coming from the right place.

When you are open for the mind, for thoughts, and see yourself as a person, you will gonna identify with your thoughts, believe them, and then the feelings immediately come. Very difficult to stop this programmed self, i,m practising it for years but keep playing the game.

Experience will come once you know what you are. The only thing that veils truth is the ignorance of the human mind. And ignorance is removed by knowledge. And knowledge can be thought in words. In the end it is only conviction about ones true nature that distinguishes the sage from the ordinary person. But of course, a direct experience of the absolute will definitely kickstart your conviction. 😘

Self realization is when we let go of the ego .
I am statements are all about the ego . He's only repeating others words .
In order to fully let go of the ego or identity, you need to lose all memories as well. Can someone really do that? yes in some case those who have amnesia, dementia or catatonia. Are those considered to be enlightened? haha I doubt. Self realization I guess is all about transcending the unconscious ego and after all is integrated, purified and united, Pure awareness or Being shines and looking reality through the eyes of innocence.

good point! I have often thought that Thinking I am awareness,is the Ego thinking this.
But there is something to it, and it's because of "CONsciousness that we are unable to get to this place of awareness.
This Awareness that is me KNOWS who I am, I think that somehow consciousness is a tool of this reality. I think Awareness transcends consciousness. I think consciousness limits awareness, defines, and categorizes, and judges, therefor limiting who we really are.
I don't know who I really am because the Consciousness/ Character/programming/ is always playing, and This is not who I really am.
In Awareness I have epiphanies of life/reality and experience, and I feel FREE, in those seconds I know Who I am, then consciousness comes back online and I feel stuck, trapped, set in my ways, and can hardly explain what I experienced in that moment of Awareness. There are no words in Awareness, no way to explain who I am.
"I want to understand this... but I don't yet." could be added to the list.

The main problem of the spirituality is that the mind cannot recognize its own source or own essence, what may be the Self or Atman. One can try it by oneself, it’s not easy. For the most people, it’s required the long practice. The neo-advaita teachers say that it’s quite possible by a deep recognizing or by an intellectual insight in oneself. But thoughtless mind does not mean no mind at all, the mind is still present in a latent state. The mind needs to be absorbed into its own source or essence as a whole.

This is "Advaita Vedanta" which Swami vivekananda preached.
I've had an experience of this except it wasn't a good one.. I was dissociated from my body and i didnt know what was happening to me so I wasn't really focusing on anything except trying to take control back or have a sense of being back in my body. It didnt feel blissful it felt scary and my body felt numbed like it was completely covered in pins and needles it was uncomfortable. I'm not saying I'm against this, I'm just confused and giving my experience.
This is most likely because of your self(ego) that you have always know to be who you are and the fact that it doesn't want to be found out....so when you have this experience and fight against it happening, as if the ego is who you really are it can feel like your dyeing for real. happens to people on psychedelics all the time when they take more than they are ready for. When this happens again, dont fight. better yet run towards it freely and the feeling of fear and uncertainty will fall away too.....you may fight it your whole life, but luckily we have the pattern of death to awaken us as a last resort....better to open now and not taste that sting. =) Best of luck its not an easy path at first but it gets Lighter.

@@DeepValueOptions Thanks for the link. Alarm bells went off when I started watching this guy (granted, it's the first and only time). His body language is tense and angry and he's trying to hide it. There is also a vibe of entitlement. The message is rehashed from a bunch of others, so if someone is hungry for the message, there are better messengers. For some reason he reminds me of an unpolished Eckhart Tolle mixed with Wayne Dyer, except angry and disingenuous (just my take). And, J.K. was much more persuasive. imo.

a true buddha, enlightened one or guru does not teach in words, but connects and changes in direct transmission. To be enlightened all one needs to do is acts of compassion without a single thought of the self. there is no need for enlightenment. nothing is not.

Very dangerous statement to say you are god. Even though we are all extensions and parts of infinite space and matter which is the infinite cosmos which is what you call god each person is still a living body and a growing soul and we do make mistakes on our journey. Calling ourselves god does not move us forward on this journey instead it keeps us Ego bound and full of mistakes. When we call ourselves that what we really are which is work in progress then we can love ourselves the way we are without getting stuck and without leaning back into complacency. Instead we move forward as we learn from our mistakes. Existence is a never ending learning and healing journey. Each person is very responsible for how we create our individual lives and life as a community. So be part of making things easier and better for All living beings animals, humans and all life forms equally much.

The point is not to start living in a delusion where you think your ego is the god. It is to realize that there is a part within you beyond the ego that is god.

Literally NOTHING original. Anybody could get up and do this kind of speech, read a few books on zen or Buddhism or OSHO it’sjust most people wouldn’t have the hubris to proclaim they are a spiritual guru or teacher. This is the dunning Kruger effect in play. A person who has a little knowledge but thinks he knows all there is to know. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
Dumb people asses themselves as far more competent than they are because they think they are the measure of everything and don’t know what they don’t know. In their certainty, they attract followers, people who have no knowledge. If someone has a little more knowledge and has it more organised than us we will see them as an expert or guru. The only reason you need to sit at the feet of a guru is to learn you don’t need a guru.
Also, just knowing about ‘being’ does not help you make changes. Just meditating alone will not change your most entrenched habits. What is really required is access to the unconscious mind. Everything else is just window dressing. Being is only the beginning, but if you treat it as though it is an end in itself you will stand at the door of your potential marvelling at it’s fine design and wooden grain, but never stepping through...

It is of non-duality, so expressions might differ due to physical matters in existence, but the 'essence' will absolutely be the 'the same'. Well, all of this is just words of course, not direct experience ever. It's not never touched in words haha.

Perhaps it’s a wise inclination to remain guarded against those who speak in such definitives. For in an ever expanding cosmos is it not ok for some to know they are one and other to remain in the vail? Most of what he says is related to the Ra-law of one material yet he does not annotate that at all. “One infinite creator”...
