This is stunning, I absolutely loved the attack on Osgiliath, even more so than Minas Tirith. Would love to see you incorporate the scene with Frodo and the Ringwraith on Nazgul confronting each other. Absolutely stunning and those new plastic characters look amazing!
One thing I really have to thank channels like yours for is for taking me from a casual fan to somebody who hears “Gothmog” and goes “oh boi, we’re in for it now…”
My favorite character who would look awesome in a diorama? Well, master Zorpazorp, that would be Samwise Gamgee himself (if in Osgiliath, it would be cool to see a little Easter egg diorama with him, Frodo, and Gollum escaping the city in the sewers with the battle raging above them)
Man am I envious of that mass of plastic, but I don't envy the amount of clipping you had to do! I would love to see a diorama of Boromir's last stand, it's always been one of the standout parts of the movies for me. keep up the good work!
You know who I would love to see? Someone who didn't appear in the movies, iirc. Beregond, the Third Company Citadel Guard watchman who showed Pippin around and fought with Gandalf during the siege of Minas Tirith, and helped save Faramir from the funeral pyre. He was a badass.
One of my favourite characters from the books is Faramir. The intelligent and capable man who is constantly in his brother's shadow. Even his role when he at first appears is as a shadowy ranger! I'd love to see a diorama of Faramir leading his rangers in ambushing some servants of Sauron.
I am looking forward to seeing this all painted up. I hope there is a video with Boromir with his banner miniature, recreating his capture of osgiliath speech scene.
My favorite character is Frodo. Putting him atop,a wall with a wraith on wings swooping in and then Sam and gollum on a level below would make an excellent diorama. Maybe Sam rushing up the stairs towards Frodo? Amazing they sent you sooo much! Really, really glad to see many of the Battle Companies lads again, even briefly. Hopefully everyone stayed uncut throughout that massive desprueing. Really excited to see you recreate that massive double building in the background of Boromir’s victory speech. Amazing! FOR GONDOR!!!

This looks fantastic! From the films Eomer has always been a favourite of mine but in the books Prince Imrahil and when he sallied out to rescue to Faramir has always made hime a favourite of mine and he would be great in a diorama.

My favourite character would be boromir, however in an osgiliath setting I would choose the nazgul, this could be an option for example say one you reach a certain point you have to roll a certain number or set of numbers on a dice, such as 3 sixes or 1,2,3 on 3 dice. So it would be hard to get but still possible and so the forces of Mordor would have access to the Nasgul for a certain amount of turners, they would then be able to call in more at different objectives (probably about 3 different places) each giving the support of a nasgul and maybe if you get the nasgul you could roll a 5/6 to get the witch king but if you don’t get a 5/6 you would lose the nasgul support making it amazing if you get the 5/6 but also making it a risk.
I'm read reading the Two Towers with Andy Serkis' dulcet tones right now and I've found a new love of Boromir. As a kid, I hated him, but the fact that he is able to shake off the power of the ring is a testament to his strength if character. I'd love to see a diorama of him being killed by Lurtz as Merri and Pippin are carried off.
You absolutely should recreate boromir's speech scene from the extended edition once you've finished the courtyard you used as a reference, he's my favorite character and imo that scene represents peak captain of the white tower energy
Legolas taking down the Mumakil has always been such a heroic scene I'd love to see in miniature form. Love these projects supreme leader Zorp, can't wait to see the finished products. This journey has been crazy to follow over the years.
Faramir especially when he was rescued in the actual book after battling in Oligarch. Wow loved the build, pity GW hasn't brought out a huge box set of just the ruins scenery.
Faramir is my favorite character. His loyal bodyguard being rewarded with exile for abandoning his post is something that's always stuck with me. Such a backhanded compliment. Thank you for saving my life never come back to the city you know and love. The books are a story of people fighting for people rather than any location. But you make the locations come to life so beautifully
Absolutely amazing also would love to do a scene of the witch king sitting on fell beast talking to gothmag telling him I will break the wizard" after conquering Osgileith
Started off really jealous of all those sprues, then I saw the effort involved in cleaning them up. Think I'll be limiting myself, I still have the Dol Guldor fortress to build. Fantastic build, looking forward to seing what else you can do with the kits!
Good to see the old Battle Companies gang back together. Favourite character, following the Osgiliath theme, would have to be Boromir making his speech on the ruined walls of the old city.
This is amazing, the new ruins kits look incredible, looking forward to seeing them all painted up! Osgiliath is definitely one of my favourite places in Middle Earth, I find its history to be so interesting. I would personally love to see a diorama of Boromir's speech after liberating Osgiliath, it's easily one of my favourite scenes from the triology, shame it was cut from the theatrical releases.
My absolute fave scene in the whole trilogy is the sunrise charge of the rohirrim, it makes my heart swell every time! followed closely by Eowin facing down the witch king on his not-a-dragon
For a diorama, I think it would be qute funny to have Tom Bombadil in the middle of the chaos, just the level of tonal incongruence between the tense battle and a silly (albeit powerful) man singing about how his boots are yellow!

That is a massive pile of potential! I think with all this Osgilliath terrain, the scene with Gothmog on the landing craft with all the orcs while the rangers lie in wait would look amazing
Love the videos. It would be epic to see Boromir and Faramir, Captains of Gondor, brothers fighting together in their struggle to reclaim the city of Osgiliath for Gondor, for Gondor, for Gondor! If not in a diorama , a battle report of such a battle would be awesome

The patience to clip and clean 100 spruces is impressive for sure. I’d probably say Gimli as a favourite character A good reference for cities are the third age mods for total war medieval 2 there’s tons of sub mods and plenty of custom city battle maps that are pretty well done
My favourite character from the films is Gandalf, everyone credits Sam for being the great hero, but without Gandalf's efforts the Fellowship wouldn't have left on their quest or even reached Rivendell. The new kit looks awesome, love all your crazy projects.
Merry and Pippin standing in the provisions room of Isengard, hip deep in water with food floating around them and a shelf of longbottom leaf on the wall.
It's amazing to me how you can just take massive boxes of bits and make such interesting buildings. As far as characters go, Faramir is totally underrated! Give him a spot to shine!
Wow. I only recently discovered your channel and have enjoyed watching your videos about lotr. This is an amazing gift to you but I am sure it will inspire many to join in. I have received my Battle of Osgiliath set here in the UK today! Such chunky and robust scenery along with amazing minis and the updated rule book. It was going to be a Christmas present to me but I can't wait until then! Keep up the fantastic builds you do!
Glorfindel has always been by favourite lotr character. The old unarmoured sculpt is awesome but the new one is too, I think either would look great in some sort of forested scenery. I really love how GW tries to support you so much with videos like this, it's nice to see they have some sense of community engagement and especially with MESBG!!
Did you also consider the old PS2 games The third age and Return of the king? They both had super super detailed Osgiliath levels which looked amazing!
A super cool Osgiliath based character diorama would be the moment that Gothmoh kills the ranger captain and proclaims that the age of men is over. It would be a super cool opportunity to show the orcs behind him "at rest" after the battle, which we don't often get to see.
I know I am messing with most people's wish of seeing frodo, but I think this would be the perfect diorama to feature Boromir in his prime! Always loved the character and I am always moved by his flashback scene. But making a diorama of the fight before this scene could lend itself for many nice things. For example rangers ambushing a troll, or Boromir trying to take on a Nazgul! It would be a sweet way of incorparating fiefdoms or minor GW original Characters c: Even Gothmog could make an appearance since we don't know much about his involment before the siege of Minas Tirith. I just think that this would lend itself to be more memorable and unique then just replicating what we already have a boxset for! Alternativly you could just replicate the iconic celebration scene c: To be fair, either way, I am certain you will do a banger job! Take care Locky! And have a nice day c:
Character id love to see in a diorama is a galadrial diorama of either the queen of storms bringing down dol guldor, or wiping out hords of orks on her own during the seige of lothlorian
I cannot wait to see you and the guys with some narrative play on these Osgiliath boards. I always loved the moment you see Boromir in decked out armour give his speech 'For Gondor' hope you get a chance to add that as a diorama.
Aragorn Elessar (Or maybe strider? After Battle of Pelennor) entering the Dome of Stars would be an awesome diorama! Pipe-smoking, with Legolas and Gimli behind him :D Or Boromir losing the horse in half - sunken city of Tharbad
I'd love to see a diorama of the last moments of the retreat across the Pelennor - Warriors and Rangers converted to be riding horses fleeing in terror, even riding double; Gandalf, Imrahil and the Knights of Dol Amroth sallying out to cover them; but most of all, Faramir throwing down the Haradrim chieftain and being hit by the black arrow in his (small) victory.
Well I can do with some extra Mordor/Isengard Trolls 😉 A diorama for the fall of Isengard would be amazing, with Saruman, Treebeard, Merry and Pippin. With your resin pouring experience from your Osgiliath boards you could make an epic scene out of it, for sure 🤩
Nice work!!! That new Faramir is going to look great on this board. It would be great to sneak in Frodo and Sam escaping from the board, hide it somewhere and just see who notices.
Wonderful vid as always dude, and I think we need more Samwise saving Frodo in The Tower of Cirith Ungol from the orcs. One of my fave moments from the series as a wee lad.
Just a thought, but you could also use the old Return of the King video game for reference as it has an entire level in Osgiliath. Gives some great tall buildings and connected rooftops you could use as inspiration, even a bell tower.
Favorite charecter would be Faramir. A diorama of him and his lieutenants in one of the towerslooking over maps and planning the defence would be great.
My favorite character is Thorin Oakshield and I would love to see a diorama of the scene in the Battle of the five armies when the iron hills dwarves are surrounded and he goes out of Erebor and charge the Azog's army
I don't really have a favourite character to put into the diorama, but it would be awesome to see rangers and soldiers teaming up to take down a troll, rangers shooting arrows and rappelling down onto the troll while the men of Gondor hem it in with spears
Wow! you really brings this kit to another level!! Not exactly a character, but I vote for the young ranger of gondor who hands out spears to the other soldiers just before the battle of Osgiliath, when Faramir finds out the orcs are crossing the river.
DUDE THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!! I have a metric ton of mantic sci fi tiles that I want to do LV 426 some day but right now I'm 500+ figures into my tomb kings build and its got minis from more lines than I can think of. Love all the craziness and the raw energy of the project. I have 16 more containers of figures to paint yet so It will be pushing a K when I'm done:)! Keep up the inspiration Big Guy!!!!!!!
My favourite heroe of this game is defenetly Sauron. He would look very awesome in a classical battle of the last alliance sceen at the bottom of mount doom, or as the necromancer with the white orc in the depth of Dol'Guldur.

I’d like to see the weepy scene at the Grey Havens (I’ve requested before I think…) you making an insanely large elven boat and taking it to sea with BattleCamper would be *lit*

I'd love to see a themed custom Peter Jackson miniature in the ruins using hero forge or something. As the director of the movies and having the final say he was responsible to introducing millions across the world into this fandom and created the Lord of rings (interms of providing the images and asthetic) for many that never read any of Tolkiens works and been able to imagine this for themselves. I think it would be awesome to have him as a citizen or a hobbit or gondor soldier stood atop a tower overlooking the build in a "I created this from Tolkiens work" kind of way with an Andy Serkis model crouching next to him. P.s. a frodo, Sam and gollum scene where they are crouching from the Nazgul on fell beast would be epic but this will get a lot of suggestions so not my first pick
With that massive block of trolls it'd be tempting to assemble them as a proper regiment with musicians/drummers and a standard bearer, an absolute brick of absolute units.

The diorama I'd love to see is the pair of Mordor trolls bashing in the gate of Minas Tirith with Gandalf and the WoMT holding the line on the other side "Whatever comes through those doors, you will stand your ground!"
With all respect to Gondor, Haldir's death scene would look incredible, the blasted deeping wall, as haldir gets stabbed and takes 4 uruks down with him... maybe I love elves just a bit too much, but that moment made me cry
Favourite char Inter is definitely Legolas. Orlando bloom is a god firstly, and Legolas is just an amazing character. From skateboarding on a Isengard Uraki shield down the stars of Helmsdeep. To walking over the snow weightless

Faramir especially when he was rescued in the actual book after battling in Oligarch. Wow loved the build, pity GW hasn't brought out a huge box set of just the ruins scenery.
Faramir is my favorite character. His loyal bodyguard being rewarded with exile for abandoning his post is something that's always stuck with me. Such a backhanded compliment. Thank you for saving my life never come back to the city you know and love. The books are a story of people fighting for people rather than any location. But you make the locations come to life so beautifully
Absolutely amazing also would love to do a scene of the witch king sitting on fell beast talking to gothmag telling him I will break the wizard" after conquering Osgileith
Started off really jealous of all those sprues, then I saw the effort involved in cleaning them up. Think I'll be limiting myself, I still have the Dol Guldor fortress to build. Fantastic build, looking forward to seing what else you can do with the kits!
Good to see the old Battle Companies gang back together. Favourite character, following the Osgiliath theme, would have to be Boromir making his speech on the ruined walls of the old city.
This is amazing, the new ruins kits look incredible, looking forward to seeing them all painted up! Osgiliath is definitely one of my favourite places in Middle Earth, I find its history to be so interesting.
I would personally love to see a diorama of Boromir's speech after liberating Osgiliath, it's easily one of my favourite scenes from the triology, shame it was cut from the theatrical releases.
My absolute fave scene in the whole trilogy is the sunrise charge of the rohirrim, it makes my heart swell every time! followed closely by Eowin facing down the witch king on his not-a-dragon
For a diorama, I think it would be qute funny to have Tom Bombadil in the middle of the chaos, just the level of tonal incongruence between the tense battle and a silly (albeit powerful) man singing about how his boots are yellow!
Outstanding sir! Can’t wait to see it all complete, it looks amazing now. My favourite character would be Boromir for his uplifting speech and then straight to the beer! Good man to have around, I’d follow him into the realms of hell! Great work!

That is a massive pile of potential! I think with all this Osgilliath terrain, the scene with Gothmog on the landing craft with all the orcs while the rangers lie in wait would look amazing
Love the videos. It would be epic to see Boromir and Faramir, Captains of Gondor, brothers fighting together in their struggle to reclaim the city of Osgiliath for Gondor, for Gondor, for Gondor! If not in a diorama , a battle report of such a battle would be awesome
In this Osgiliath build would be so cool to see Faramir charging in his suicide charge, as commanded by his father

Faramir deserves a chance to show his quality. I'd love to see a diorama of he and his knights trotting down the street of Minas Tirith to meet their doom.
The patience to clip and clean 100 spruces is impressive for sure. I’d probably say Gimli as a favourite character
A good reference for cities are the third age mods for total war medieval 2 there’s tons of sub mods and plenty of custom city battle maps that are pretty well done
My favourite character from the films is Gandalf, everyone credits Sam for being the great hero, but without Gandalf's efforts the Fellowship wouldn't have left on their quest or even reached Rivendell.

Wow. I only recently discovered your channel and have enjoyed watching your videos about lotr. This is an amazing gift to you but I am sure it will inspire many to join in. I have received my Battle of Osgiliath set here in the UK today! Such chunky and robust scenery along with amazing minis and the updated rule book. It was going to be a Christmas present to me but I can't wait until then! Keep up the fantastic builds you do!
Glorfindel has always been by favourite lotr character. The old unarmoured sculpt is awesome but the new one is too, I think either would look great in some sort of forested scenery. I really love how GW tries to support you so much with videos like this, it's nice to see they have some sense of community engagement and especially with MESBG!!
Did you also consider the old PS2 games The third age and Return of the king? They both had super super detailed Osgiliath levels which looked amazing!
A super cool Osgiliath based character diorama would be the moment that Gothmoh kills the ranger captain and proclaims that the age of men is over. It would be a super cool opportunity to show the orcs behind him "at rest" after the battle, which we don't often get to see.

I know I am messing with most people's wish of seeing frodo, but I think this would be the perfect diorama to feature Boromir in his prime!
Always loved the character and I am always moved by his flashback scene.
But making a diorama of the fight before this scene could lend itself for many nice things. For example rangers ambushing a troll, or Boromir trying to take on a Nazgul!
It would be a sweet way of incorparating fiefdoms or minor GW original Characters c: Even Gothmog could make an appearance since we don't know much about his involment before the siege of Minas Tirith. I just think that this would lend itself to be more memorable and unique then just replicating what we already have a boxset for!

Character id love to see in a diorama is a galadrial diorama of either the queen of storms bringing down dol guldor, or wiping out hords of orks on her own during the seige of lothlorian
I cannot wait to see you and the guys with some narrative play on these Osgiliath boards. I always loved the moment you see Boromir in decked out armour give his speech 'For Gondor' hope you get a chance to add that as a diorama.

Aragorn Elessar (Or maybe strider? After Battle of Pelennor) entering the Dome of Stars would be an awesome diorama! Pipe-smoking, with Legolas and Gimli behind him :D
Or Boromir losing the horse in half - sunken city of Tharbad
I'd love to see a diorama of the last moments of the retreat across the Pelennor - Warriors and Rangers converted to be riding horses fleeing in terror, even riding double; Gandalf, Imrahil and the Knights of Dol Amroth sallying out to cover them; but most of all, Faramir throwing down the Haradrim chieftain and being hit by the black arrow in his (small) victory.
Well I can do with some extra Mordor/Isengard Trolls 😉 A diorama for the fall of Isengard would be amazing, with Saruman, Treebeard, Merry and Pippin. With your resin pouring experience from your Osgiliath boards you could make an epic scene out of it, for sure 🤩
I think seeing Frodo surrounded by the Nazgul about to be stabbed by the witch king at weather top would be an awesome diorama
Nice work!!! That new Faramir is going to look great on this board. It would be great to sneak in Frodo and Sam escaping from the board, hide it somewhere and just see who notices.
Wonderful vid as always dude, and I think we need more Samwise saving Frodo in The Tower of Cirith Ungol from the orcs. One of my fave moments from the series as a wee lad.
Just a thought, but you could also use the old Return of the King video game for reference as it has an entire level in Osgiliath. Gives some great tall buildings and connected rooftops you could use as inspiration, even a bell tower.
Favorite charecter would be Faramir. A diorama of him and his lieutenants in one of the towerslooking over maps and planning the defence would be great.
My favorite character is Thorin Oakshield and I would love to see a diorama of the scene in the Battle of the five armies when the iron hills dwarves are surrounded and he goes out of Erebor and charge the Azog's army
I don't really have a favourite character to put into the diorama, but it would be awesome to see rangers and soldiers teaming up to take down a troll, rangers shooting arrows and rappelling down onto the troll while the men of Gondor hem it in with spears

Not exactly a character, but I vote for the young ranger of gondor who hands out spears to the other soldiers just before the battle of Osgiliath, when Faramir finds out the orcs are crossing the river.

DUDE THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!! I have a metric ton of mantic sci fi tiles that I want to do LV 426 some day but right now I'm 500+ figures into my tomb kings build and its got minis from more lines than I can think of. Love all the craziness and the raw energy of the project. I have 16 more containers of figures to paint yet so It will be pushing a K when I'm done:)! Keep up the inspiration Big Guy!!!!!!!

My favourite heroe of this game is defenetly Sauron. He would look very awesome in a classical battle of the last alliance sceen at the bottom of mount doom, or as the necromancer with the white orc in the depth of Dol'Guldur.
Also a cool ranger camp/watchpost built on top of one of those towers would really add to the war in progress feel

Aragorn is a favourite, and the most epic and heroic scene from the movies is ofcourse when Aragorn faces the arriving Uruk-Hai at Amon Hen.
great video i was actually nervous in the middle that you would run out of peices but i guess not i would also really like to see the scene with sam, frodo, aragorn, merry, and pippin cooking on weathertop and the instant regret of their decision. keep up the great content and i wish you well on this larger than life gaming board.

Thats cool - one of the very few non sci fi projects that I watch..... now try them for the 1000s of miles of gothic ruins for the Emperors palace
I'd love to see a themed custom Peter Jackson miniature in the ruins using hero forge or something.
As the director of the movies and having the final say he was responsible to introducing millions across the world into this fandom and created the Lord of rings (interms of providing the images and asthetic) for many that never read any of Tolkiens works and been able to imagine this for themselves.
I think it would be awesome to have him as a citizen or a hobbit or gondor soldier stood atop a tower overlooking the build in a "I created this from Tolkiens work" kind of way with an Andy Serkis model crouching next to him.
P.s. a frodo, Sam and gollum scene where they are crouching from the Nazgul on fell beast would be epic but this will get a lot of suggestions so not my first pick

With that massive block of trolls it'd be tempting to assemble them as a proper regiment with musicians/drummers and a standard bearer, an absolute brick of absolute units.

For a the competition entry: I would say I would love to see not heros, but when the army of Balrogs fight the spider demon Ungoliant from the Silmarillion

The diorama I'd love to see is the pair of Mordor trolls bashing in the gate of Minas Tirith with Gandalf and the WoMT holding the line on the other side "Whatever comes through those doors, you will stand your ground!"
With all respect to Gondor, Haldir's death scene would look incredible, the blasted deeping wall, as haldir gets stabbed and takes 4 uruks down with him... maybe I love elves just a bit too much, but that moment made me cry
Favourite char Inter is definitely Legolas. Orlando bloom is a god firstly, and Legolas is just an amazing character. From skateboarding on a Isengard Uraki shield down the stars of Helmsdeep. To walking over the snow weightless
