Great Video!! I am tempted to use this oil for HALF the cost of Mobil 1! I did some research on why the price difference. I think Kirkland oil is like a a group base 3 oil, the Mobil one has more of a blend between Group 3 and Group 4 oils. Mobil one supposedly has a better "Base" oil..... Kirklands add in more additives to make it meet Dexos standards. IF I AM WRONG, correct me! But this is what I have researched. If you change it every 5k or less, hopefully no issues with either!
Used it all cars, Toyota, Suburu, even a twin turbo 3.5L F150 Lariat for several yrs. Have mechanic friends that only use it. Best quality oil for the price. I seen multiple real world testing of this oil compared to other oils. Used mobil 1 for decades, no difference, just pay a lot less for Costco brand made by Warren Industries. I'm gonna try Penzoil Ultra Platinum for next oil change but only because I got a good deal 6 qts for $30, amazon special. Suppose to clean engine and is used in high hp Dodge vehicles.
i use it in all my cars and trucks . 110 k on our crv so far 5k oil changes. on sale for 31 for 10 gts you can change more which i think is more important anyway. i own a 35 year old 350 chevy truck with 500k that i change at 3k many different brands still works as new.
I’ve been using Kirkland oil for the past 5 years, I used to use Mobil 1 since the 90’s . This oil works good and is very economical . I add BG MOA for added insurance and use Mobil 1 and Purolator Boss oil filters. My Vehicles take 9 Quarts of oil and can do oil changes for $45 , can’t beat that value 😊
Since the drain plug is oriented on the side, more oil is left in the pan. I usually jack it up from the front, use jack stands them drain. Then I remove the jack stands and set the car on thr floor to let more oil drain out. It is more work, but you do get more oil out. Of course, you would need an extra shallow pan for this
This is….not even close to true. It’s not even playing the same sport as the truth. Lots of good information out there conclusively showing they’re not the “same oil”.
I have a Corvette. I change my own oil regularly. I want to see how you got your Vette on those ramps! The Vette is too low for those ramps! Also, those wiper blades are not the correct ones for the Corvette. Pick up GM-specific Corvette Wiper Blades designed for that windshield.
You would make a very good technical instructor. A classroom full of young people would enjoy your lectures.

Thumbs 👍 thanks for sharing Chris. ARKANSAS Badlands
Thanks for sharing that Chris. I use that in my twenty twelve Nissan frontier truck works pretty good. PS. Looking kind of dirty under that hood.
Hell yeah dog. I tapped on the video cuz I saw the Corvette and then the Kirkland motor oil.nice job
wish we had a Costco close by
Coscto is one of my favorite wholesale stores!
I buy mine on thier website it’s cheaper most of the time as well, gets shipped to my door
That’s what I use for the last 3 years. Can’t beat it at $3 a quart.
How to get your oil filter cup, it looks like high quality. I searched every where could not find it.
Cosco’s Kirkland Amazon basics Walmarts super tech are all the same oil ,just branded different

@@jaymoor8995 I totally agree.
Warren oil company makes all of these, I do use the Kirkland on my my Honda civic
It is true Warren Oil Company makes all of them and there are oil analysis that prove it's true.
It's definitely true look it up. Oil analysis prove it as well. @jaymoor8995
Can I use that oil in my Polaris RZR Pro XP Turbo?

You are welcome to purchase them for me, just click the Thanks icon to make a small donation so I can go pick up the parts?
