Thank you for Your honest and straightforward video. I've been doing PDR for 25 years, I watch most videos to keep up, sadly most videos are filled with misleading or dishonest content.
When we believe in what we are doing it is easy to explain. Customers who are seeking the best quality at standard pricing this is for them. Thank you for your kind comment glad it comes off genuine. Hope you have a great day! 😁🦅
I’d say that’s the best video I’ve seen explaining prices. Here in the uk it so different! Very hard to get nice (high) prices like yours We don’t have carfax for a start, there’s no probs with the customer getting a side painted for £500 here I’ve subscribed to your channel and keep up the great work 🎉
Martin Thank you for the comment. I totally hear you on the low cost shops. Locally you can paint an entire vehicle for sub 500$ sure it’s no where near a quality job or paint but the Body shop industry has a wide spectrum of cost and quality. When I was doing collison paint small cars started at 5000$ for paint with no repairs. It’s been great watching our local rates go from 42$ to now 60-82$ per hour for reputable shops. Dent repair has always amazed me at the cost savings vs paint. You always represent quality and value for your services. I used many of your videos to help learn Pdr as I’m self taught. Thanks for the comment and be well 😁🦅
Awesome job on the video! It's hard fully explaining to a customer why I'm $30.00 more than the guy across town for some dents, but my experience has taught me to expect things to be a little harder than you think they will be. Tesla and Subaru models taught me that. 😂
@raleighdentcompany The law of third applies to dent repair. One third of the time it’s super tough and doesn’t go our way. Second third goes ok about what we planned. Third portion is Great! Knocking out of the park feeling like Superman. We all need some more of number 3. Thanks for the comment
Cheap work equals cheap results as we all know.. I do not offer any dealers wholesale work or prices as it’s just not for me. Stay focused on high quality repair work.
Had a legit nickel size BB gun dent in a right front door of a 2016 X5 come in (retail). Co-worker who has zero PDR experience told him $95 and to avoid drama I just ate it. Had to have a heart to heart with the other people in the shop after that.
@@jasonj4326 in business we sometimes fear damaging profitable relationships at the cost of our value. It is important to provide a consistent price structure that allows us to provide high quality services. Sounds like that was a great opportunity to show why it needs to be charged at a higher rate than a “small” ding. BB gun dents are natoriusly difficult often times taking hours to complete. I appreciate your comment and hope this video helps you in the future. Jim
@@Entity_STI happy to hear you found a good professional while quality matched the cost. Glad I made this video as many people have found it helpful so far

18 years in Pdr and it’s by far the most accurate video about Pdr pricing I saw on internet.
Thanks for that kind of quality content.
Thank you for such a huge compliment. I appreciate you commenting on our pricing and glad it makes sense. Hope this helps many others.

Great video. Perfect explanation of the difference between tier 1 and tier 2. I think that's the toughest to explain.
Thanks for the comment and keeping up with my videos. Hope this translates well to curious customers.

Now if only we could apply this pricing to the dealerships who only seem to want to pay $75 for an entire vehicle
