+Jada apple It's super simple. Make sure the heat isn't set too high. While pouring the batter most people move the batter about to "spread" the batter. Don't do that... just pour it in the center of your pancake area and don't move the ladle or whatever it is and make a good circle that way.

Depending on the design, the pan should either be off or on the lowest setting that way you have time to do details and whatnot without burning the pancake.
