That's because the Garfield is from the original show like the old one and in the newer versions it's a little bit different

@PunyGod yeah, just watched the trailer. I don't hate it as much as everyone else seems to haha, but I think the issue is that they made his body proportions too human. His eyes needed to be bigger, so did his shoes, his arms should have been cream and he needed actual gloves. His character did seem funny though :)

Bit harsh and subjective, I'd say. Art is only as good as it is to each person viewing it. While Kyra did some great work, I personally preferred Brent's piece and thought it was a lot more kitsch/characteristic in style, but I think it's rude to dismiss artists as being "better" than the others and even mentioning them being "nice" to them afterwards (it's not a pity party) when they can come through the comments and compare themselves to completely different styles.
artists tend to find more flaws in their own art than in others people's. you're seeing it from the inside out, but from their perspective their opponents will probably look better.

Manzana Verde That’s not actually true. It’s more of a misunderstanding due to stuff being lost in translation. The American museum described Hello Kitty as a cat, which caused the Japanese branch of Sanrio think they mean a literal cat instead of a personified cat. When they insisted that Hello Kitty is a girl, they really meant personified cat. That feel when the entire conversation just keeps getting lost in translation and blown out of proportion. The different between a personified animal and just that animal is the difference between Goofy and Pluto. Hello Kitty has human characteristics while her pet cat, Charming Kitty, doesn’t.

Snoopy seemed the easiest to draw out of all the others as he doesn't have much detail in his design compared to the other characters. But then that simplicity works against you as you have to figure out if you got the design right when drawing it from memory.
LOVE this series! Please do more! Maybe try some iconic video game characters or more Cartoon Network characters!
