To be honest, I went to the double header soccer game at FedEx last year. Was it state of the art? Obviously not. But for all the hate, once I got in my seat, it was fine. Yes aesthetically there are issues but when we consider the price tab and the limited number of events at these stadiums, can we justify replacing these stadiums every 20-25 years?
They already have the Ravens up in Baltimore. They need to go back to D.C. And since I'm from the DMV area and they need to return back where they once called home. And now that R.F.K .Stadium is finally set for implosion this year, no exact date yet, something has to be resolved. A new stadium with 65,000 or 70,000 seat capacity should be able to fit right in its place.

No giving away hundreds of millions in federal land owned by all Americans, to the residents of DC. The current free lease arraingement for petual use as a stadium is OK.
