Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield did more than songs! They blessed the world with the finest talent! They will be missed always! No Righteous Brothers will never exist again.. they were so original!
My wife and I saw them in Sunrise, Florida back in the mid 1900s I believe in Sunrise, Fl. Sent shivers up and down my back. They got 2 standing ovations and they sang more song.
After Bobby Hatfield sang Unchained Melody, that song became his song forever. His rendition of that song was breathtakingly beautiful. As long as people are alive, they will always be awestruck by Bobby Hatfield's voice and God-given talent.
@@johnphillips4268 I agree. I've listened to it over and over again, watching him sing it live on the Andy Williams Show. Just so beautifully sung. Definitely during a more gentle, and genteel, time.
He produced it, I heard played the piano. So yes it's his song too, but a mention would have been a nice memory. They both did solos under their name and probaly didn't try to steal any thunder that way.
@@JMAM006 Bill produced and did the arrangement and played piano. Mentioning that Bobby sang it solo would have been nice but everyone knew he did. Most people did not know Bill produced and arranged the song.
JMAM006 I heard they both flipped a coin to see who would sing Unchained Melody and it happened to be Bobby that night. Even though they both knew it and it was both their song. Bill later said he was glad Bobby got it because he believed he did it the best

I love all Righteous Brothers songs! Bill Medley's voice can't be matched! I think his best song ever is Peace Brother Peace!
It was surpassed by Bobby.
From the golden age of pop or rock or whatever you want to call it. And I was lucky enough to have been there when it all began.
Damn I'm old!!!
I always Loved the Righteous Brothers and still do.
A shame that he didn't mention that it was Bobby Hatfield who alone sang Unchained Melody. We won't forget you, Bobby. Beautiful.

I thought it was rude of him to say the most popular record was Bobbys, while interviewing Bill.
Yes, verry nice song but never give cradit to writer(s)
