The motor can run at full efficiency, losses only occur in the inverter (VFD). But if your input power is enough, these are not a problem.
Why is the input marked L1 and N....which is 120 Volts on the line and N is the neutral for 120 VAC if the input is supposed to be 220 VAC? Thanks DD
Did you ever figure this out? I have the same question.
Maybe it can work on anything from 120V to 240Vs as input, or maybe they used a convertor made for the US market where they use 120V in their grid.

Hi, how do you increasing voltage from 220V to 380V? None of branded VFD's have this feature. If I have 3 phase motor rated 380V 10A, how much VFD will take from 1 phase 220V supply?

When choosing a VFD, the rated power and current of the VFD should be greater than the power and current of the motor. We have various custom specification VFD.

Should the type of motor be (inverter duty motor) so as not to be damaged?
It is best to use a professional inverter duty motor, of course, ordinary motors can also be used (to ensure good heat dissipation)
Hi, I have my ATO VFD wired up and working, but my main breaker panel is hard to access at the beginning and end of the day when I need to shut off power overnight.
What sort of switch, mini breaker or contactor should I use? I would like to have it mounted near the machine between the main breaker panel and before the VFD input power.
