What’s the point of using a muzzle loader? Are there hunting regulations, or is there no point to follow up shots in beer hunting? To be clear, I know basically nothing about hunting.
the point of a muzzle loader is typically the challenge as you really only have one shot that has to be loaded by the end of the barrel. some people use it because its what our forefathers used a connection to the past, some because its a way to stay outside hunting as a lot of places have a muzzleloader only season. as for regulations there is defiantly regulations! there are very few animals that are allowed to be hunted/harvested with no regulation and typically those that are (like pigs in most places) are going to be a feral animal in other words a domesticated animal that has been released. follow up shots can most defiantly be used but is very hard with a muzzleloader (the 1 shot thing) this looked like a very long shot most dont shoot over 200 yards and try to be within 100 but new technology is getting people shooting longer distances.
