- This is a full ride to the top of the Klausen Pass in Switzerland with some commentary straight from the bike. Fines for speeding are ridiculously high in Switzerland and that can be quite a bit of a downer especially after coming back from Italy but there is more time to enjoy the amazing scenery.
The Klausen Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.948m (6,391ft) above the sea level and located in the Swiss Alps. It’s said there are 136 curves with a difference in altitude of 1.237 meters (bottom to top) to reach the summit.

Oliver, the straight parts of the Klausen Pass gives a little time to admire the beauty of Switzerland's magnificent landscape...my tour is not going to be boring, this is for certain..

Schön, so habe ich auch etwas von der Schweiz gesehen. Die meide ich, wie der Teufel das Weihwasser, eben wegen der Speed Limits und den hohen Preisen.
Hehe. Ich weiß genau was Du meinst. Frei fahren sieht anders aus. Aber die Landschaft ist wirklich sehr schön

Absolutely - we did at the top of this pass 😉 part of the fun of you are riding with a buddy or in a group. I do not take many or long breaks if I am going by myself
Ja... der Klausen ist toll. Mit gefällt die andere Seite aber besser. Fahre ich mind. 6x im Jahr. Ist nur etwa 2h von mir weg :-) Habe sogar selbst ein etwas älteres Video vom Klausen. Noch mit meiner alten Kawa. Mit der Ducati ists mittlerweile deutlich(!) zügiger :-D
Der Pass ist total unterbewertet finde ich - so eine schöne Straße und Landschaft. Nächstes Mal sollte ich den auch mal von der anderen Seite anfahren - danke für den Tipp
Auf der Glarner Seite teilweise ziemlich "bumpy". Aber das semiaktive Fahrwerk regelt das dann gut weg :-)
Auf dieser Seite gibt es 3-4 Min von der Strasse entfern auch ein prachtvoller Wasserfall. Da kann man unten/hinten durch. Sehr schön und eindrücklich.
