I know people complain about boneless skinless chicken breast being dry, but I’ve found having my butcher butterfly them open season with your favorite seasoning. Then I heat my Q1200 up place them on the grilled about 6min each side and 165F internal and I have never had a dry piece of chicken. Always moist and tender without having to brine them. Just my experience. Love your videos, keep them coming👍
That is a great little grill. I love mine. I'm seriously considering selling my big gas grill because I enjoy the little one so much. I cooked six ribeyes this weekend at the same time on little sucker. Does a great job. If you have a Little cookie rack, you can cook indirect by laying down a piece of foil with slits in it (to keep the grease from pooling) and then putting the chicken on the rack. It's a cheap disposable heat deflector. You probably already knew that though but maybe someone else will see this comment. Thanks for the upload.
I just made some Chicken on my Weber Q1200 over the weekend. They came out pretty good. I Love this little gas grill. Going to get a 20 pound tank hookup for it and use t for quick meals.
Yeah since I mostly use charcoal, a 20 pound tank would definitely last me all summer and probably til the end of the year as I grill in the winter too.
I'm going to try hold off and use your brine - do you think boneless is better or easier? I know i using a good product. I bought a boat load of chicken from Springer because I heard there might be a shortage. Need your best way to do the boneless skinless. Thanks again.
Been following these vids on the Q grill. Wish you would experiment with baby back ribs on this grill. Not sure how they would do with direct heat so maybe a period of time wrapped in foil, followed by searing without foil. Enjoy your vids as they are easy for me to follow and duplicate.
It's a little pricey but it really is a great little grill. I usually grill using charcoal. I have the Weber Smokey Joe, Jumbo Joe, and the Performer, but this one is a great addition for quick cooks. And it's well made.
I've never brined I use springer mountain boneless skinless breasts about 6 oz filets and I do us a q 1200 grill. Do you have a tip for the boneless skinless? I like you. patricia
Chicken breast is my favorite part of the chicken and I think yours came out great! Nice coloring and juicy and white! I'd love to sink my teeth in one of those! YUMO Jim! TFS and Hi Annie! TC, Kelly :))

Yeah, this grill does a great job! I have broiler pan from one of my old toaster ovens that works good on it. Perfect size!
Love your Annies Market. Would like to see more of it when you shop! Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Using a 20 lb tank works good. I haven't had to refill mine yet so it lasts for quite a while.

Between the brining and the grilling, that had to be delicious! TFS, Jim. (:
Thanks Stef! It turned out pretty decent! :)
Nicely done, sir! It's easy to char-too-far chicken skin on those cast iron grates. You did good!
