Apple Set to Drive More Jobs with Bigger Make-in-India Play
People don't realise how much india has developed after 2014. Where were we in make in india before 2014?
Can't wait for people to label you as "andhbhakt"
While several of Modi’s economic policies are good, the world has changed after realising they cannot trust China so they are looking for backups. India and other south east nations are the beneficiaries
Both are correct. Make in India is really accelerating now. Before the current geo political scenario make in India had less traction (some defense deals only) now it's really good.
The biggest sucess of Modi govt is digital payments. Raghuram rajan does get credit for it too.
🤡 go read some economics
I hope TATA will take over the whole manufacturing process of Apple Products in India as the profits of manufacturing these are still going to Taiwanese and Chinese Firms.
Why only TATA we need new Industries If we want any kind of development.
Capability 😢
Tata is not tech company expert. And Tim Cook favours Chinese company. Watch his interviews.
@@amoghvastrad3352Taiwanese companies like Foxconn,Winstron and Pegatron
@@amoghvastrad3352 He like Chinese companies due to low cost and high degree of expertise of the Chinese companies. Also, apple is trying to reduce dependency on China. The issue is you cannot oppose something if that something supplies you around 90 percent of your components.
The biggest hurdle to apple devices is the right to repair. I don't know if they have changed this in India but I don't think the Indian government will let it fly.
We were going to include a scene in the video that it is expected that their service will improve now that their store is here
4:17 WOW WHAT FLEXIBILITY‼‼‼‼
Lol
0:10 tf never knew about that. Good thing govt did not allow it and see where we're today.
Moral of story - Modi have larger vision than Tim Cook.

Indian Calendar should start from 2014.🔥

Apple has become a case study for all luxury brands from the world that India can be an excellent market for their products
Only if the government allows Tesla
@@kashishkumar Why? They aren't ready to follow the rules being laid down. They are saying we will bring from China and sell in India. Also, he isn't ready to promise any localisation or value addition. He just wants tax benefits to test the market. This makes no sense.
Very informative video ❤
Thanks Piyush
from where you learn the beautiful english speaking. your conversation is very beautiful ❤
Please make video on how Indian companies like Lava & Micromax can help boost Indian mobile industry and exports.
India is really very complicated it has richest people as well as poor too but these gap is decreasing and now a days buying an Iphone is becoming very common.
Majority of them buy on emi
@@hayabusa1269 Majority in foreign countries also buy on loans or EMI
@@DineshKumar-cp5qq I think buying more iPhones is better for India as it will increase the interest of big companies like Apple and others and with this more manufacturing plants will open in India, and with more demand and manufacturing the price will decrease and with more manufacturing, Our people can get more jobs and more income currently India is manufacturing 10% of total iPhones and by 2027 it will 50% and we can't deny the fact that iPhones more secure than android so your 20k Mi is very much prone to threats than an iPhone and many people in India have very high-income sources so only if 10-15 % people show interest in iPhone is still a huge number.
Great
Crisp, educative and wonderful!
Thanks
When we elect a proper Nationalist govt who thinks about India - we get such amazing policies which are India centric ❤
Thank you Modiji 👏
Wrong to say that. All governments have been nationalistic

Apple should make, iPhone for specially for Indian market (35k) may be iPhone SE4. That will become a huge success
now that the production is happening in India, can we expect iPhone prices to come down significantly? assuming no excise duty and import taxes
Let’s be realistic, iPhone is a luxury product globally and “significant” drop is highly unlikely. Here in the west too, it’s an expensive purchase however, we have networks companies that offers great deals such as paying a fraction of the cost monthly for years. And that why you see people using these phone in numbers. That said, the product by itself is literally worth half a paycheque on a minimum wage (trust me that’s a lot of money for us too). Unless of course INDIAN government exempt taxes on Apple products and you pay significantly less on government’s subsidy. But that is not really a good precedent for you economy. As India grows into a wealthier country and the middle class becomes empowered (financially), it would rather become easy for masses to buy apple products. So instead of hoping for the iPhone to get cheaper, hope that the average Indian’s income increases rapidly. Much love!
@@Oldwise101American telecommunications services and Indian telecommunications services have a drastic differences especially what they offer (also the payment bills and stuff)
@@Oldwise101 That seems like the right thing to do, for now. But i do believe its gonna be cheaper in India in future, because now Iphone is costliest in India then any country, even Dubai and USA, solely because of import duties.
They will increase the price then😂
Indian govt should ask Apple to give independent repair rights as it has a policy to overcharge for repairs and exchange policies.
4:59 what will happen after PLI?
Hopefully by then companies will continue using India as a base
Till then investment made in India will make it logical to continue in the Indian market. Also, the Indian government is working to reduce costs of the companies by improving logistics and allowing large movement of goods and services, which will allow India to reduce the cost of production without the help of PLI
Good 👍
Thanks Krish

Why give all the credit to the company? The reality is that the Indian government struck a hard bargain of 30% indian make. After losing money to resellers, the company finally agreed to our terms. So, it's also a victory for Make in India policy. Please give credit to it.

Manufacture Apple plant in India🇮🇳
After Making phones in India iPhones will be cheaper and may not be categorised as luxury product, unless apple still stick to their current pricing strategy. Besides to go into apple eco system would be harder.

hello team,
why are you not posting in bisbo malayalam channel?
Its been a month !
Sorry Sachin. We have stopped the Malyalam channel as not getting sufficient views to recover costs
Dear Bisbo,
I hv great love on this channel. But the thumbnail you had put for this video is not an appropriate to describe India. You can represent India as an eagle or a tiger or lion or elephant. We Indians r sick of western misinformation that they show snake chamer are in India. So please change the thumbnail.
Even though I am still loving your channel for your precious great videos 😅💓🇮🇳
Yes Dkine, get it, but this is a play on the garden of eden and adam biting the apple

Still certain section of people will blame the government that it is filling the pockets of Tim Cook by providing incentives to Apple. Some people never change.
Jai modiji
Chinese manufacturing in India. yeh Modiji fir se dar gaye china se. Hahaha..
Apple is overpriced
India does no't manufacture iPhones, they assemble them with all the individual units being made in China. Currently OEM is impossible in India... Chip fabrication is not available in India, same goes for camera sensor, display, battery and much more... All we do here is assemble the parts.... Plus India does not have the technology and human resources (skilled) for manufacturing a world class product
You mean Indian Companies like Micromax, Lava, Karbonn, Intex, etc don't make world class products?
