I can't even comment on the recipes because I'm too busy crying, like a baby, over the story about your Grandfather, and having those memories. I could not agree more. I just lost my Mom, a month ago tomorrow, and I realized that I really don't have very many pictures of me and her together. She used to love to sing, but I only have one video of us singing together. I wish, more than anything, that I had taken more pictures and recorded more videos of her. We knew that the time was coming because she had been batting some pretty major health issues for the last 4 years. She finally got so bad that she spent the last 6-7 months in a nursing home. This was my first Thanksgiving without her, and now it will be my very first Christmas without her. I lost my Dad almost 20 years ago, so I was just a kid. His death absolutely shattered me, but losing my Mom after 32 years with her by my side? It's killing me. I hope that your holidays are happy, warm and bright. Hug your loved ones a little longer this year, for me. ❤
I miss my folks too. It doesn’t “get easier”….it just becomes your new “normal”. To honor my mom, I contact a shelter every Christmas and ask if they will name a kitty after my mom (Violet). Sending you love.
I'm with ya on the Worcestershire. I do drippings from the sausage, brown the flour in it, add milk and Worcestershire sauce, salt/pepper and a some red pepper flakes to taste...keep stirring until YUM! LOL I'm loving every bit of this! Thanks for the smiles and ideas for Church fellowship this weekend.
When I make my gravy I don’t use butter I use my leftover bacon grease to make the rue. Also, for spices I use salt, pepper and ground sage. So delish!
Sage! Aha, That’s the secret! I use some Worcestershire bc I’m Italian living in the south, and we sneak that into everything! I was thinking should I add a pinch of sugar but then I thought of my son’s Southern in-laws, and decided nope, better not ever do that!! 😂
Merry Christmas!. My secret for gravyis to cook the flour rue mixture is a dark golden brown...and instead of using milk.use water..milk has a sweetness to it..
Gravy from the leftover grease so good…love all of these. I miss both of my parents this is my first Christmas without my momma. Love the people that God gives you because one day he will want them back💞
I make my gravy like my mom did. I fry sausage and when it’s done I add butter when it melts I sprinkle in flour. Let it get the color I want then add milk a little as at time. With Salt and Pepper just plain good ole Fashioned gravy
The best and easiest no fail gravy is Mccormick pkg. White gravy mix. No seasoning needed. All done for you. No lumps. 1 pkg makes 2 cups. I use for chip beef gravy too.
Wow, that cinnamon ball cream cheese casserole thingie is amazing. I did make it for Christmas breakfast and my son was so happy. He loves cinnamon rolls but he said this is much better. I added pecans to the top before baking because pecans makes everything better. I think we have a nee Christmas tradition. The only problem I had, and it is not really a problem but just different I think, is when I added the butter to the biscuits I couldn't toss them because they turned into a big dough blob. I doubled the recipe and I think from the time it took me to cut up the biscuits, while being sidetracked by family chatter, the biscuits became warm and fluffy and all stuck together. Not a big deal, I just needed up pulling off small chunks and rolling them into the cinnamon and sugar. I think this actually allowed me to get more cinnamon added to each roll which is also nit a bad thing. Also, since I doubled it, it took 40 mins to cook. This one has been added to my cook book. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
You made me hungry. Sooooo, what do I have. Real bacon crumbles Cresent rolls Cheese, eggs. I rolled the Cresent rolls and then cut in half. 6 eggs, shredded cheese. I mixed together but in a bundle pan as you. Then, as ,the Cresent rolls are puffing up . II made gravy. Delicious.
Our family always made our gravy with a little of the grease from the sausage, get it hot and usually have bits of sausage in the skillet, add the flour stir until cooked add milk or heavy cream salt and pepper and stir until thickened and serve.
All these resipes sound delicious. II add my flour to any meat drippings (sausage, ham or bacon) Once in the grease, add S&P, stir until the nuttiness is out the flour. Where I was borned and raised, my Mom always cooked the flour mixture until it got a little brown. The I add canned Carnation It's a complete game changer!
I made the first recipe for Christmas breakfast this morning, I used 6 extra large eggs and 1-1/2 cans of the Grands biscuits, hubby liked it so much he had 3 helpings and we have plenty left for other meals!
I add onions to everything and hubby use to like it, but the last few years he's been complaining 😊. So I heavily do mine and lightly do his. Thanks for these great recipes. I hope y'all have a Happy, Healthy and Blessed Christmas day.
You two are absolutely adorable! You both just emit joy! I wonder how long you been together? I dont subscribe to anyone, but I'm definitely subscribing to you Jessica! Blessings to you both and to your family for the Holy Days! Thanks for the yummy inspiration!
I make a carrot cake every year for Christmas so I make extra frosting and make monkey bread for Christmas breakfast and use the cream cheese frosting on it. YUMMMMM-O! plus it keeps the fingers outta the Christmas dinner as it is being cooked.
Love the first breakfast casserole, waiting for the crock pot version of biscuits & gravy. On the egg shell subject….I rinse my eggs really well before cracking them in a bowl or pan. I don’t think they’re washed too well when packaged. Last note, I do not use a white bowl so that if a piece of the shell does fall in, you can see it and scoop it out.
For my gravy recipe (which I learned from our Mamaw) I use bacon grease instead of butter. It makes it so delicious. Or if you are making sausage gravy, use the grease after you brown your sausage
My mother-in-law makes the best gravy! She uses the drippings from the bacon and adds just a bit of sugar. Really want to try all 3 of the recipes, but especially the sweet one! Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and Bunkey.
I absolutely love your channel ♥️ I must try all of these delicious looking recipes! I always make my breakfast gravy as you do (yes, even with a few drops of W-sauce lol), but my secret is to add a handful of white cheese (I usually use Mozzarella) and a sprinkling of oregano.. lol. I always get compliments on it. I've been making it this way for 41 years🥰
The cinnamon biscuits looks delicious. I personally would add pecans in with the biscuits and sprinkle a few on top of the cream cheese frosting. Thank you for sharing these recipes❤
Oh my gosh. The crockpot bake is amazing. I had to add some time with my cooker since the biscuits needed more than 2 hours. It really benefits from the gravy too. Instead of Worcestershire sauce I added Kitchen Bouquet brown sauce.
I'm so thankful for you guys! You always manage to make me smile, even on my not so great days! Love to you both and also to your families on Christmas and always!❤
Hi Jessica. My Grandma always made cheese gravy with bacon grease. Oh my heavens it was so good. I know it’s not good for you but once a year couldn’t have hurt. Merry Christmas to you both. ❤
I was sitting here watching and loving this video and also admiring your pencil tree in the kitchen and thought of something a client of mine did for his mom (94 yr old)...they did a holiday tree for all the little holidays we celebrate through the year. And I know you and bunky always decorate through the seasons abs thought I'd suggest this to you and maybe we will see a holiday tree in your videos through the seasons! Thanks for all the great content. Merry Christmas to the Bunkeys
Thanks for the recipes and for being so fun to watch. Food is definitely exciting! I use butter AND bacon grease for my gravy. Lots of ground pepper. And I totally agree about letting the roux brown a bit before adding the milk/half and half mix. Have a Merry Christmas!
Love your channel! Wanted to tell tou about take Rhodes12 cinnamon rolls. Put them in about a regular cake pan probably 9 x 13. Pour half and half into the pan about 1/2 way up the roll. Next take 1 stick of butter melt on the stove and add 1 cup of brown sugar stir well to mix. Cover till rolls risen then put in oven at 350° for the time on the package. It comes with 2 pkg of white frosting. Really taste great!! Love for you guys to try it!
Daisy was really revved up for cheese and sharing. That howl had me going😅. These were really easy and tasty sounding. You really have been helping out with ideas for Thanksgiving & Christmas this year.💟💟💟💟💟
Watching this is making me hungry! Yum! In my gravy, I add a little liquid smoke, and it adds so much fullness to it! Merry Christmas! Sounds like you have some great holiday traditions!
I can’t wait to try these recipes Christmas morning and I always add a couple of dashes of red pepper to my gravy.and have a very merry Christmas y’all.
Commenting under my hubbys acct. That last redopei do kind of like that. I use cinnamon rolls from pillsbury, cut them up then mix butter cinnamon and brown sugar pour on top then pour heavy cream on top just to cover, then bake then make cream cheese frosting with butter and cream cheese and top with that. Cinnamon roll casserole ❤️
Oh my … My 2 favorite Bunkey’s ! Love seeing both of your smiles and your laughter !! All of these looked absolutely delicious. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both and Daisy Mae !!
I was prepared to think, ho hum, another canned biscuit recipe. BUT, these look and sound awesome. ALL of them will be added to my menu plan. Thank you so much for sharing them. Merry Christmas. Looking forward to the new year.
These are all incredible recipes Jessica!😍 You started out with the sausage, eggs and cheese with the biscuits, which looked amazing, then added some gravy, which put it over the top!😘 Then you switched gears and added butter, sugar and cinnamon and made chopped up cinnamon rolls and topped it with an amazing frosting!😚 I think the savory comes first and then you have dessert!😋 They all sound wonderful for Christmas morning and every other day too!🤩 I hope you two and Daisy Mae have a wonderful Christmas!🧑🎄☃️🎄 Thanks for sharing more amazing recipes!🥰
Hey Bunkies! My boyfriend and I love watching your videos and recreating your recipes - y’all have never steered us wrong! So sorry to hear about your loss. We'll be praying for you as you continue to grieve.
I miss my folks too. It doesn’t “get easier”….it just becomes your new “normal”.
To honor my mom, I contact a shelter every Christmas and ask if they will name a kitty after my mom (Violet).
Sending you love.
So sorry for your loss of your mom . I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🏻
I’m so sorry, one of the hardest things we ever do is say good bye to our moms 😪 God bless you 💕🙏
I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. May God give you comfort and peace this Christmas.
Love that you are both equally excited by great food. "Wearing it around your neck, and have little bits all day." Appreciate you two!

She mentioned that Bunkeys cleaned up the kitchen, a long with the skillets that she had just finished cooking the sausage, so no grease. 😢
God Bless a dear daughter who was raised with loving parents! Kudos Mawma and Pawpa
Gravy from the leftover grease so good…love all of these. I miss both of my parents this is my first Christmas without my momma. Love the people that God gives you because one day he will want them back💞
I loved your memories from the family. You are also correct, treasure each and every one of them.
I make my gravy like my mom did. I fry sausage and when it’s done I add butter when it melts I sprinkle in flour. Let it get the color I want then add milk a little as at time. With Salt and Pepper just plain good ole Fashioned gravy

Merry Christmas to you and you family. I agree memories are everything.
Wow! That last one is so good. Oh, my word!
Loved making Bundt pan eggs and biscuit recipe. It was a hit and looked impressive when it was finished
Delicious.
I sometimes add a little chicken bullion (the powdered stuff) into my gravy when I make it. So good.
Our family always made our gravy with a little of the grease from the sausage, get it hot and usually have bits of sausage in the skillet, add the flour stir until cooked add milk or heavy cream salt and pepper and stir until thickened and serve.
That first one would be great as breakfast for dinner.
I agree on the Worcestershire in white gravy! After learning that it takes chipped beef over toast (SOS) to the next level...I always add it!
Oh golly gosh .. I want all these Christmas morning
Merry Christmas to y’all. Love your videos. I was born in Tennessee and raised in the south. I now live in Idaho but am still southern at heart.
I put a couple pats of butter in my gravy. Gives a rich taste.
I use bacon grease and flour with flour to make roux, salt and pepper. I use evaporated milk to make my gravy, makes so cream and rich! YUM!😋
I’m slow to get here but wanted to wish you both a very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!❤Thank you for all of the love and joy you bring to so many!
Pioneer brand peppered gravy is the best!! I used to make homemade gravy until I found this gravy!

I make a carrot cake every year for Christmas so I make extra frosting and make monkey bread for Christmas breakfast and use the cream cheese frosting on it. YUMMMMM-O! plus it keeps the fingers outta the Christmas dinner as it is being cooked.
I do enjoy your videos you and your hubby. Have a happy and safe holiday. Take care and keep doing what you’re doing.
Thank you so much!! Merry Christmas!!❤️

My mother-in-law makes the best gravy! She uses the drippings from the bacon and adds just a bit of sugar. Really want to try all 3 of the recipes, but especially the sweet one! Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and Bunkey.

Canned biscuits come in quite handy! Im definitely doing that sweet roll hack.

Oh my gosh. The crockpot bake is amazing. I had to add some time with my cooker since the biscuits needed more than 2 hours. It really benefits from the gravy too. Instead of Worcestershire sauce I added Kitchen Bouquet brown sauce.

Hi Jessica. My Grandma always made cheese gravy with bacon grease. Oh my heavens it was so good. I know it’s not good for you but once a year couldn’t have hurt. Merry Christmas to you both. ❤
Hahaha Agreed!! I love the idea of adding some cheese!!
I like adding a bit of nutmeg to a cream based gravy. It sounds odd, but it's a great ingredient.
“Little cloud puffs of love!” Lol
Thank you for sharing your video. Looks delicious.👍
