I'm 29, I've gotten socks, underwear and clothing basics since I could remember. I still receive these yearly. I turned out okay, it amazes me what upsets people. It will all be okay,people.

I loved getting socks as a kid and I still do at 29. They don’t have to be boring socks. There are so many cute designs and patterns you can find even at the Dollar Tree.

That’s great! If you’re able to set money aside during the year, that is a great way to save. But if you can’t, you can always make Christmas magical, even with very little! I think my sweet kids had a magical Christmas this year!

My favorite present was the Gerber Tool. Before becoming a mom I was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for ten years. Gerber tools cost anywhere from $30-$100 dollars. We all carried them on our belts because they are so multi functional. That’s an amazing gift.

Me either, I should have cut back when they were little and ill definitely do that when I have grandkids... but my kids are so used to expensive and lots if gifts (I have 4 kids and just one gift for 1 kid was $399, ... so yeah im definitely doing something wrong especially when I see videos like this... this lady got alot of gifts for 4 kids for half of what I spent on 1 gift for 1 kid.... absolutely amazing 👏
Our salvation army and goodwill stores are ridiculous in my area though bc they are so expensive 😤 I can literally buy it brand new for cheaper than our local salvation army...

You can pick up some amazing things from the thrift store. When you have lots of kids or on a tight budget I don’t see the problem. Kids don’t need hundreds and hundreds of pounds spent on them, mine would be happy with stocking, games and their Xmas dinner.

I watched till the end. Sounds like you know how to save and think ahead. I wanted to share a tip with you and your viewers - look for deals during Christmas clearance - toys for birthdays, Easter basket gadgets, body wash gift sets, and even solid color wrapping paper you can use all year long. There are so many Christmas items that are not Christmas specific that can be purchased for other events. Also you mentioned you like giving each child an ornament you can easily find ornaments at 80-90% off and save them for next year. Like you I also shop thrift stores for gifts. Marshalls & TJ Maxx is a great place to hunt for deals on toys after Christmas because hardly anyone thinks to buy toys there so there's always lots leftover in January and February.
Yes!!!! After Christmas would be such a smart time to stock up on those little gift sets for bdays! A couple years ago, I got bunch of those nail polish gift sets from Target for like 50 cents each and my girls had presents for their friends for every bday party! 🥳 such a good tip to do this (if you have any money left lol 😂)

I do this all year long at Walmart and Target. My grand daughter scored big this year. $15 and 20$ gifts, I paid 2-5$ for. Even a LOL 75$ set for 10$.

We always (and still) got new socks for Christmas. 🤷🏼♀️ And I always check Facebook Marketplace for toys on my wishlist for my kids. If we had a better thrift store in my area I would absolutely check there too. Most things are very gently used and you would never know it's not brand me. We love hand me downs!! Merry Christmas!

I use almond bark (white/dark) for my pop out candies. Grocery store by chocolate chips. Can add extracts and flavorings to white bark. Not very much. I also make cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, pure mint extract and sugar to coats to make mints so sparkly. They are called Wedding Mints. She can sell them it 20. Per 100. They are beautiful and loved.

Be sure to watch Dollar tree for cake decorating stuff they have a lot of stuff that's just as good as the other stores. You can also use a lazy Susan for the turn table for the cakes if she needs another one. I also try to get cheap stuff good will and dollar tree for my kiddo as well

In Australia, we don’t have thrift stores. We have op shop’s same kind of thing there’s nothing wrong with buying good secondhand presents to gift to someone.

I really love your Christmas videos very inspiring! I wanted to say every black friday Walmart normally has their large box of 700-1000 piece for about $20-25 thats the best price on lego or FB marketplace. To me lego are worth it because you can use them in so many ways. Brick link you can buy individual mini figures for $1-3

You know what’s crazy?! I have seen that Lego deal at Walmart every year and always passed it up for one reason or another….this year I decided I was going to get those. And this is the year that the shipment didn’t come in! 🤦♀️ I searched and searched the store and finally asked and was told the shipment of those Lego’s never made it 😭 I guess I’ll try next year.
