Aw, I love that you do Secret Santa amongst your kids. We do the same with our 4. We take them out each individually for a date and shopping for their secret sibling gift. They LOVE it. They really look forward to that 1 on 1 time with the parent of their choosing. -Veronica M.
Love! Yes, I agree. It's something the girls have really looked forward to! And we take turns as parents too for the date. Thankfully they keep track of who's turn it is 😆
Could you do secret sibling on boxing day? Split up but meet together for lunch or supper in a nice restaurant. I love gifts that I can build onto at birthdays and next Christmas. Yoto player-accessories and cards, play couch-so many pieces to add, tiny kitchen- food and so many others. You get the point. This year im getting makedo tools that are safe tools for cutting cardboard and a little kid tool belt.
I do a budget of $100 per kid then they get a santa gift as well. I get as much as I can within the budget. We don't do "secret" santa but my kids all buy gifts for each other, with their own money. They all know what they are getting each other because I always have them all with me, there isn't anyone to watch them.
@@hannahgravelle My older 2 (12 and 8) get $2 a week in allowance. My youngest is 4 and typically uses her money from Halloween and Thanksgiving cards to buy gifts; although she does her sisters chore of putting up the dishes because she wants her own money.

You're so pretty and so is your tree! Great gifts!

Great idea!! I'm looking at the Yoto player this year! Such a practical gift that keeps giving!
@hannahgravelle yes you will not regret the yoto. It's used daily here.
My little guy plays with magnatiles all the time every day!
The best!
We are a magnatile household…the question is what do you use to store them? Our growing collection is getting to big for our current storage system.
It's the only toy we have in our living room so I have baskets on the bottom of the book shelves! Works for now 🤪

Love it! Once they have little jobs they can take over! I try to stick to 100-150 per kid too. It adds up!
