This game was made by the same guys that did Sunset Riders, and it absolutely shows. Not just the play style and stage design, but the art, the enemies and player designs, the power ups... great game.
I was living in Misawa Japan when I was a kid and played this game. I never realized till years later that the developers of Sunset Riders did this game as well, even the art style is the same. I'm slow lol. My pops got stationed to Japan so thats how I was living there from 1989-1993. Man I miss living there and the people.

Love when games fro Konami have a similar vibe with their music. Like that cave theme, really gave X-Men arcade vibes. Those old Konami games really had a certain charm when it came to their music.

Smart choice picking out Yuri - in some videos I watch of Mystic Warriors, someone picks out another character other than Yuri, or worse, it's a four player game and Yuri is left out, making her the damsel in distress.
I really enjoy playing this game because it is a fusion of Shinobi and Rolling Thunder. I wish Konami did a game like this that has the feel of Taito's Elevator Action.

Also, girl wearing tight bikini on skis 🎿 doesn’t have a problem with her butt cheeks being cold 🥶 I guess we men of culture can appreciate the bravery. It’s also amazing she can be walk really fast under water and shoots shuriken like it’s never going to run out. Not sure if Konami will censor this since we are in the Woke and Metoo feminist era.
