    I shot weddings with 2 of those and an X-Pro 1 a long while ago.. Bought used for around $175 each before the prices jumped. Zeiss Touit 32mm & Fuji 18mm, 23mm were my 3 lenses. Ahh the good old days...Cheers!

    Your video popped up and I really enjoyed your genuine excitement about a new-to-you-old camera. I just got a new-to-me-old camera in the mail this past week, and there's hardly anything that beats that excitement of opening a camera box! I subscribed based on your excitement alone! :) Also, please do a camp snap review/experience! I saw that camera coming out and I'm very curious, and possibly going to buy one because it's so cheap and seems so fun!

      I love that! This is the most natural I’ve felt on a TH-cam video coz I was just keeping it real, I’m glad that excitement came across, it was genuine. So excited for you! May I ask what camera you got? The camp snap vid is def gonna happen. Thanks for subscribing

      @@InaiahLujanMusicYes, I got a Fuji S2Pro, which is a dslr from 2002, in a Nikon dx body, supposedly it’s a unique sensor, the super ccd. It just looked fun to me, and I had been looking for one for 1 1/2 years and then found a cheap one on Etsy, on a random search for $100 with a lens that I promptly sold to get an auto-focus lens (and I already have a couple Nikon crop sensor dslrs). Sorry, tmi, but it’s so fun to get a camera!! And then I saw after watching some of your videos you’re in Pueblo!! I grew up in northern NM so Pueblo was our big city (haha!), and I’m in Longmont, Co hoping to get back to NM in the next few months. Anyway, I was so glad to come across your video!!

    Hell yeah! I have my og xe1 from 12 years ago. Love this thing. It’s so beat up, but still great. I mount Voigtlander M mount glass in it. It’s amazingly fun. Definitely update the firmware if it’s not already updated!

      That’s awesome to hear it still gets your love. Thankfully it came shipped with the latest firmware update. I am loving it so far! Follow the journey on IG if you’d like: @truluphoto 🙏🏽

    You’ll love the Fuji system! The only issue that comes with owning a Fuji is eventually you’ll want a Leica. Trust me

    You will enjoy your X-E1. Great camera, not the fastest, but it will give you very nice files. You will want to buy a couple extra batteries. If you chimp it will munch through them. A very nice small lens to partner with it is the TT Artisans 27 F2.8 AF. Low cost to boot. Have fun!

      Thanks for the feedback and this tips! I’ve been loving my X-E1 so much so that I also got and X-T1 and have been in an exploratory phase with both. Love the jpgs coming straight out of camera and have found my preferences and tastes to be easily achievable through custom adjustments. I love the manual functions etc. I hear you on the batteries I burn through them and have got a few spare to tote along with me! I got the Fuji Fujinon XF 27mm F/2.8 and absolutely love it, for both manual and auto focusing. On the budget side I went with a couple of Mieke lenses a 35mm f1.7 and a 50mm f2. They may not be tac sharp from corner to corner but they have a lot of vibe that suits my shooting style, and being fully manual it slows me down in a good way. Anyway rambling now, thanks again for your feedback. I’ve been posting regularly on my insta @truluphoto if you want to follow along :)

    Wowww, how do you even get a dreamy look like that on your a6000? My images always look very "real" and "clinical" and crisp. Beautiful, man! :)

    • @InaiahLujanMusic
      @InaiahLujanMusic  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! Honestly, it’s in the post processing, I’ve never cared for the look of Sony straight out of camera personally, but I have been able to work with the raw files quite well! Also using 3rd party lenses really help get rid of that “clinical” look, especially vintage lenses adapted for e mount. Would highly recommend the Helios 44-2 or 44-m or Canon FD lenses for a more, dare I say?, filmic look.

      @@InaiahLujanMusic Thanks a lot for answering, I'll definitely give the Helios a go. I have it here even but haven't used it for quite a while because since COVID I kind of lost the motivation to go out and take pictures but your video might have been enough inspiration to get my ass out :D

    As a Sony cult member, I also recently bought a Fuji (in my case the X-T20) as a "new" EDC camera equipped with the XC 35 f2. Also I want to know, what the Fuji hype is about. I have to say, that - at this point, after several weeks - I'm not thaaaat happy and convinced. Hope your experiences will be better ❤

    • @InaiahLujanMusic
      @InaiahLujanMusic  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for sharing! Curious about the X-T20, I’ll have to look it up. Are you doing video and stills with it?

    • @eike.zender
      @eike.zender 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@InaiahLujanMusic Just for photos. It can film in 4k, but I just want to use it as a stills camera. I mean...I bought it, because TH-cam-Internet was telling me, that an older type camera can slow you down, so you can enjoy the moment. In my experience, I feel more restricted than everything else 🤣 maybe it depends on what you shoot. I have two little kids, and the slow AF is really annoying. But for street photography it should be fine... really looking forward to your experience.

    Some people are gripped by some kind of camera brand mysticism!
    Better to go for where you have the widest choice and other important things to you. Maybe reliable auto focus or or manual controls. Viltrox made APSC a viable choice for some people! Less weight to carry...
    Canon has very few bright, RF lenses. So unless I want to buy and use pre-mirrorless glass, Canon may not be for you - well, you could use an adapter, but that's a bit clunky, some don't like to add needless weight and parts.
    And how much do you get for your money in what system ? What do you really need?
