I'm an independent rider but I do a lot of cross country road trips and attend events (usually smaller shows and rallies). I think its important to be informed about the club scene and how they operate because even though I'm not a patch holder I'm around them and I'd be stupid to not know how they operate, their etiquette, etc. Shows like this and BD are extremely valuable to riders who are going to inevitably be around patch holders of all stripes.
True Story me and my good friends started to go to different parts of the country and back then pre Discovery Channel I was buying different support shirts!!! I had no FN clue I just thought the shirts were cool I had 3 of the big club’s shirts…I was thinking ah SYL? Ok I won’t be back this way kinda like a Harley shirt…thank god someone who knew better informed me about the scene. 😂it could have been bad for sure. My pride and IDGF attitude could have landed me in a situation that I dare not want to fathom.

First off Irish never stabbed Big Vinny to death. Vinny was visiting the Oakland Charter and a fight between Vinny and Irish started. Vinny tossed him around like a rag doll and a handful of his Oakland brothers beat Vinny with bats to save face. Vinny licked his wounds and went back to NYC and died days later from internal injuries/bleeding.
