@Wearing Yellow to a Funeral they could at least have kept the girls during shooting tho? in the background if anything. s01 basically showed only the main characters and now all of a sudden we have characters that we didn't even see before.
@@cWjkL8ysxOkrH66 it threw me initially, but what they’re is saying is true as well - you can’t cast the right actors until you can fully write the characters. So it’s odd and I have a friend who’s convinced Crystal is a hallucination, but I went with it ultimately
don’t understand the criticism for the “new girls” first of all only one actress was re-casted, they were always there they just didn’t get any screentime cuz they were establishing tai, nat, travis, coach ben, shauna, misty, van, and jackies character arc
I didn't mind the new teammates. I think suspension of disbelief always requires some effort from the audience. Being able to accept such conventions or "magic tricks" is a sign of creativity and playfulness.
They didn't just appear. In the first season, there were half a dozen or so other characters that didn't have dialog just yet. It's literally 10 episodes in a 1 hour format.
The new girls was still jarring. They could have shown them in the background more in episode one. Very small parts, but the way they dumped them in on us, it just doesn't work for me, personally. It's quite jarring and EVERYONE I KNOW has said "WHO THE F IS THIS?" when they're onscreen. Major mistake if you ask me. It's just not believable at all and totally pulls you out of the reclusive setting that made season 1 so great. I mean, we're supposed to believe Crystal silently sings through season 1? Really? Lazy writing for me, and just an excuse to use these girls as cannon fodder. Sorry, not a fan at all of the new additions. Sad, when it's such a great show.
Omg it's a tv show! Calm down. If you watched the first season closely, there were about 7 or 8 other survivors. It's an hour show they can't introduce every single character. Go offer your writing services if you are so good.
So glad they didn´ write Van off, she is my fav. Liv is doing such a great job.
And now Lauren too! Dreading where we see her character go now, but looking forward to it!
She was good in Santa Clarita diet before this. ❤ her accent too
Glad they addressed the new girls. It wasn’t totally unbelievable.
Yes, it was .

Great another one

For me it's funny, it's like a "remember her? she was always here :) "

This was such a fun and interesting interview!!! Can't wait to see the new season!!! YAY!!! 🎉❤🥰🦝🦝🦝
I am spending Thursday trying to concentrate on something besides tomorrow’s episode. So exited!
just saw Liv Hewson on the newest episode of Party Down. they were incredible in it.
Liv is actually non-binary and uses they/them pronouns ☺️
@@sabrinaf506 i totally knew this and still my dumb ass used the wrong pronouns. thank you, i edited it.
oh Jesus Christ
@@MaryJane-zw5pv what lol?
@@MaryJane-zw5pv yes church is for ped0s and bigots
I actually think many people were confused with the new characters in the wilderness for season 2
I love Jeff’s character
Nah man, they tried to pull a fast one on us with the other yellowjackets.
Bart Nickerson surely said "like" a lot. Like, that kinda makes me, like, crazy.
I like, totally, like know what you mean
BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ 🐝
I didn't like new girls suddenly appearing out of nowhere.

@@maximilian2974 look again at the picture at the reunion. The creators even mentioned in the interview that they weren't there in season 1.
I didn’t either
Quit with the ‘like’ . For a writer, he’s terrible at expressing himself coherently.
Oh shut up lmao

it was ridiculous I was like did another plane crash here or somethin?
I thought it was hilarious how they just started talking as if they've been present in every scene and we didn't notice
Exactly 💯
There was a whole plane full of girls. Of course there are more girls to introduce.
