@@MantasticHams yeah from what i've read on piggy, it's def misty. brains of the operation but also "physically inferior" to the others because he has glasses, has asthma and is overweight. it's not like this some sort of remake of lord of the flies in any way tho so they aren't interchangeable. when you read more about Piggy, he isn't like Misty in the sense that he is fighting the violent nature of the tribe, Misty is actively participating in it because 1 she enjoys it and 2 so she can fit in. so in that sense, i'd say he's like Nat. or you could even go so far as to compare Piggy to Jackie because they both represent the rational civilized world.
I've read the book. If we're going by overall story, Jackie was Piggy. The opposing tribe killed him. He was attempting to maintain civility and societal rules while the opposing tribe was already well on their way to "savagery" with the "accidental" kill of Simon, who represented a Messianic type.
I think it's Jackie! Jackie as Piggy and Lottie as Ralph and Shauna as Jack. Because I do have a sneaking suspicion Lottie is AQ red herring and Shauna might rise to power at the end. Jackie is who society had selected as a leader (social intelligence but she didn't physically contribute to the group) but when it is just the group she is overthrown (for Lottie/Shauna/Ralph/Jack) and eventually killed for it.
@@abbieburchard3180 except for the part where piggy is the outcast from the get go. that's why you can't draw a direct comparison. it's half misty, half jackie.
Sophie N. talking about Lottie being creepy as if Shauna wasn’t talking to dead ass Jackie in a meat shed for months 😂
I love how they interviewed all the boys together lol
Something in the Way was the perfect song for this episode
Such a great show with amazingly talented actors!
I'm waiting for the Wendigo to show up. That would explain a lot.
If this show is a female Lord of the Flies, who is Piggy?
I havent read LotF, but from a character bio of piggy, I'd say Misty is the closest so far, but Tai has a bit of that smart+fucked combo too.
