- Songkran is the WORLD'S LARGEST WATER FIGHT - erupting on the streets of Thailand 2024 on 13th April this month!
I get to work building a battle bike to join in the water fight in my home town of Pattaya, Thailand! I scour the streets of Jomtien Beach and Pattaya Beach to find the best water pistols and reminisce about the 90's when Super Soakers were a thing.

My first Songkran experience was in April 2013. Yeah, it was really hot!
All the Pattaya vets are bugging out and leaving it to you.
💯 I know a few guys crossing borders this time of year. Participated many times and lots of fun but it get's old fast.

The largest amount of motorbike accidents in Pattaya in the whole year happen around Sonkhran, so just be careful out there , keep your eyes peeled and your speed down.

Have done many Songkrans in BKK (Silom road and Patpong) and in the bar area in Chewang beach, Koh Samui. Yes, the more you pay for a gun, the better the power. I'll be landing in BKK next Sunday and will promptly make my way down to Hua Hin and will do my best to avoid any water flights. Way too old!

First Songkran ! And first April.. I usually fly out sometime in March. But I love heat so no problem ❤️🇹🇭 especially since in the news back in my area is a big late snowstorm..F that 😂

Give you 2-3 more years and you will be booking a ticket to Anywhere but Thailand during Songkran.

Recommend staying off motorbikes as much as possible and walk around instead. The accident rate is appalling and even advanced riders getting a bucket of water thrown in the face can have serious outcomes. Lot's of fun to be had but living here it does get old after a day or 2 of it. Have fun and stay safe Sam!

my first trip to thailand, i went to silom road to meet a friend for dinner. in the 300m from station to restaurant, i was drenched and covered in clay. never had so much fun. missed it the last few times ive been in thailand but tempted to get a pistol and go back to silom (being around the corner) this time. youre gonna have a blast!
Just dont swallow the water. Especially in bangkok or chiang mai... klong water!

I am coming - I was in Bangkok on a broken leg last year. It was my firs songkran since 2017.

Yeah it’s been so hot in surin, our tap water is the same must be 30 degrees 😅, great idea the battle bike ❤I’ll be getting a couple of those green ones.. they should be cheaper out here i hope.. great video man 🎉
