Thank you man! Thats so cool living in bali, I feel like you have to have a different approach to life if you live in Vietnam haha. But it feels so good to be back in Thailand.
Wrong. Malaysia is more developed than Thailand. And Malays aren't racist. Thais are. Thailand has a very dark underbelly that no one on YT ever mentions.

I recommend taking a day trip to Lamphun - it's sort of like a smaller, quieter little version of Chiang Mai. Only about 30km away from CM city. Take the road that goes along the river (not the highway), and you'll see some absolutely beautiful scenery on the way. There's a temple there that predates Chiang Mai by about 300 years, it used to be part of a separate kingdom.
@@JustAlexVidotto Yes you can take your scooter, I used to go cycling along that route some years ago before I got lazy. Look up Wat Phra That Haripunchai in Lamphun on google maps. Best to start off from Changklan road in Chiang Mai and then head south along the Ping river for the views. Check the flood situation first though :) Hopefully in a couple of weeks things will be back to normal. It's a great trip when the weather is good but right now might not be the best time.

I love Chiang Mai. It has all the conveniences, a mix of old and modern. The price is not expensive compared to other tourist cities in Thailand. The only downside is the burning season. But it's okay, I can go to the southern beaches.
Yes! I feel the same, it has modern cafes and shopping malls but also beautiful old areas and things to see. When is the burning season? Is it really bad?
