Hey Matt, just found your channel and I’m enjoying everyone of them so far. Great content. Just retired after 48 years behind the wheel, taking a break for a while. You have a great attitude dealing with this industry. Keep up the great work, stay positive. Love the truck, looks amazing. Safe travels my friend!🚛💨
Very nice 👍 video, Matt. I also drove a day cab Peterbilt w/a 475 CAT 🐱 in it and pulled a 40 ft/ 40 ton TrailEZE beaver tail trailer hauling equipment for Kubota & also out of the Port of Galveston. My dad is up in age now, at 91 yrs old, and needs constant care so I’m his youngest son as his caretaker. Had to quit my job and it was very similar to what you’re doing here sir. I always hated when my truck was in the shop and I had to drive something else, you’d become one with a truck that you drive for so long. 1997 We got a brand new FLD 120, drove that thing for 25 years. I retired in March of this year. April 1. I started driving a friends Mack, brand new tri axle was not comfortable with that truck and I stepped out of it.. so now I’m being picky and choosy on what I drive and who I help. Even though I’m retired I’m bored. I gotta do something.. hopefully I can get back into a classic freightliner W 900 or 389. Good luck with your ride
I thought something seemed a little off. Too happy. If that was your truck and repairs bills and you'd been sitting home for 9 weeks, you ain't happy even if the fucker is fixed. You're re-evaluating if owning a truck is such a clever way to make a living after all on your way down to Virginia.
