you're not gonna get amazing sound if you're standing on the gate at the stage cause you aren't gonna hear the PA very well cause it's not pointed at you. And since the guitarist isn't plugged into an amp, and the bass guitar and all other stuff besides the lead vocal is on tracks, it's all going through the PA (also known as the Front of House or FoH)
