Her beat makes my hair stand up she's fabulous
I've always loved the Carpenters & of course Karen & her beautiful voice, I knew she played drums, but wow 1st time seeing this & her drum solo at the end blew me away what a talent
Simply amazing. Karen was so happy playing the drums
This woman could single handedly remove the stigma unfairly placed on the name Karen. Let’s be nice again to the Karens of the world.
👍😂😂
I thought the same😅
Lol, yes!
Okay, maybe not _all_ Karens...
Can we please stop putting apostrophe's on non-possessive noun's? Thank's.
She was just incredibly talented …phenomenal skills you can see she was having a total blast here , you gotta Love her.😍
"... and a fine singer ... you're going to find out." This stuff is priceless. :)
The only Karen who was not a Karen. She gave us the gift of her amazing voice to be heard for all of eternity
This video--Karen major girlbossing on the drum set, singing in her groovy white gogo boots. I'm in awe
Wow, they really knocked it out of the park! 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks to watching this video of Karen, I began drum lessons back in 2006. I still love it! The singing while playing drums is what did it for me... :)
Fantastic Karen and Great music
Incredible. She should be inducted into the Drummer Hall of Fame for being one of the greatest drummer-singers, alongside Levon Helm, Don Henley, and the like.
and, sorry guys, but she had drum chops that helm and henley could only ever dream of.
@@DonKelleyMusic even more reason!
Should have been called the Karen Carpenter Trio. She's the big shot in this band. 👍
true, but her older brother on keys wrote all the songs and arrangements and rehearsed the band and was a musical genius with insane musical training.... without him she wouldn't have ever become a musician, possibly. they were both brilliant musicians, different focuses but equal gifts. he is a very good singer too, by the way.
She should have never been put in the spotlight at all. She had Anorexia, she died because of it, she just wanted to play Drums in the background but her brother and others pressured her to take the spotlight (because of how good of a singer she was) where all eyes would be on her. That made her condition way worse which resulted in her death at a tragically young age.
The Dick Carpenter trio.....Karen was a great drummer and so young......Richard a very talented virtuoso pianist....
Absolutely stunning talent. I’m old enough to have bought the records on vinyl
Старинные кадры... молодцы ребята, все трое молодцы!
Thank you you tube AI for leading me to this gem. Superb and timeless drumming. I wonder who will or have already sampled this dnb beat.
Lo máximo Karen con su voz y ese solo de batería. Excelente también el bajista, super bassman. Grandiosos los 3 en este temazo. 💖💕👏👏👏👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🥁🎹🎸
What a moment on music history!!!! Period!!!!!
EPIC! Karen is amazing.... miss her
Gone long before her time. She was unbelievably talented.
She was so adorable, a gorgeous singer and one hell of a drummer
