Totally agree with Michael’s comment!!! We are expecting Movie level writing, vfx, funds for tv. Then when they tell us it will take 2 years between seasons, they complain!
Danai Gurira definitely should get in for writing in drama series. Her written episode was great.
SNL loaded up on original songs, but Star Trek: Strange New Worlds went with one song from their musical episode. SNW is obviously being tactical, but I'm bummed more songs weren't submitted. They deserved Emmy noms for those, too. It's jaw-dropping how well they pulled off Trek's version of 'Once More With Feeling.'
I have to rewatch the ep SNW submitted for costumes. I wasn't expecting that. I thought Ad Astra per Aspera was a shoo-in. Lawyers should all dress like that.

It is eligible for film if it was shown in a movie theatre.
I think you two are fantastic and that's why im here always But tines are changing, mostly internet and social networks caused But there ARE NO full time movie etc critic positions anymore Exclusively because of youtube, podcasts like THIS ONE!
There are so many shows like here, SOOOOO MANY, that the 'true' critic is no longer needed.

Wow Chris, you're already losing faith in Selena Gomez getting in? Her chances are higher this year than ever before because there's not a lot of other strong contenders this year.

@@ssshar2176 Understandable but I think she will have her supporters and the voters have gone with deadpan delivery recently especially with giving it to Quinta Brunson in that category which was arguably a very undeserved win.
To answer your question Chris about what could beat Baby Reindeer, True Detective could definitely win Limited Series because despite some viewers being divided online voters don't pay attention to that and it has widespread appeal among the industry and the average Emmy voter. Baby Reindeer might not be everyone's cup of tea.
The rules on how many nominees there are vs submissions is quite silly. If there are at least 8 people submitted, there can easily be 8 nominees.
It keeps nominations from being watered down. Not silly at all.
