As a former Bridgeton native I can confidently say that Big John’s Pizza is the best pizza I’ve eaten in my entire life. I’ve always told my wife and kids that Big John’s was the best. Brought them out from California for our family reunion in Bridgeton and they had the pleasure of experiencing it for themselves. Without saying a word, their faces confirmed Big John’s Pizza is OFFICIAL! Thanks for visiting my hometown and showing Big John’s some love.
Agreed, I was raised on this pizza. Every Friday night there was Big John's (party tray).

New Jersey and New York know Pizza! Square slices are great and awesome, but a crispy traditional slice with slight flop wins in the end!
I'm born and raised in Bridgeton. Thanks for showing our pride and joy. It absolutely is the star of Bridgeton. The unbaked pepperoni is iconic and delicious. Place is old school. They just started taking cards last year.

Being a Native from Bridgeton, NJ(Cumberland County) Big Johns Pizza has always been delicious. Very small town, the pizzeria is downtown....Wow great exposure young man...

My family is from Bridgeton and I grew up on Big John's! I always told everyone it was the best!
Bridgeton is a very small town. About 45 mins outside Philly. Also, try Century Donuts down there. Best Buttercream! There buttercream filled donut holes are amazing and gone by 10am. You gotta get there early and make sure they're open before you go. They close early and are typically sold out.
$28 for that pizza. 😍 That crust looks perfect and the pepperoni as well. Each bite JL sounded perfectly crisp and the sauce and cheese looks so inviting. Damn.
When I was a kid and lived there in the early 90s, that party tray was bigger, and they only used to be $13 😂

I was born and raised in Bridgeton and I myself can say that this is and always will be the BEST pizza I've ever had. I also remember when Rosa's pizza was just down the block in which that was good! I'm happy to see Bridgeton be put on the map.
I will always remember Rosa's. My mom playing music on the jukebox and I'm playing Double Dragon. Shame it burnt down. It's now a little park for sitting and enjoying the downtown scenery

Born and raised in Bridgeton. Been 20 years since I've had me some Big John's but there's still no comparison! I've never had anything better. I'm so happy you loved it and gave such a great review. Makes my heart smile .

Right! It used to be so different when I was a kid, but that was definitely one of the highlights. Best thing about the Bridge is the food. BJs, cheesesteaks, belly busters, some ice cream spots and the peaches from Sunny Slope 🤤. Lol used to love that lil mid zoo as a kid too with the peacocks walking around. Always went to the park after. #90smemories

I lived down the block from Big John's, it's the best in the area. I'm from Vineland, the next town over, and I would drive to Bridgeton for that pizza.

That pizza really looks delicious! I'm very pickly about pizza and since I left NYC I really don't eat it much anymore; very disappointed in my travels. But this looks amazing. It's in the crust, that's right and of course the sause needs a balance of tart and sweet, the garlic, and the cheese should be pulling away from the pizza. See what I miss! lol, Nice of you to share with that man passing by...

My grandmother used to live in Bridgetown. Whenever we went up north to visit family, E always ate at Big Johns at least twice in the 7 days we were up there.
You can hear the crunch in that crust. Love it!
I was born and raised in Bridgeton and my sisters were their this past weekend for the pow-wow. I asked them to go to Big John's and see if they can deliver to Illinois...well let's say, they made it, froze it, my sisters went back the next day to get it and BOOM! I received it UPS next day air...dinner will be GREAT tonight!!!

I grew up in Bridgeton & remember when my pops would bring home some Big John's after work. Great pizza! Too bad Rosa's isn't there anymore cos you could've hit that spot too. It used to be on the opposite corner of that block. Rosa's was pretty legit. I used to play Shinobi in that joint!

Bridgeton was my hometown. Downtown has changed a lot but not this place. I think the sauce is the secret. I take one back to VA and freeze it whenever I visit. It's just as good reheated in the oven.
Looks yummy, however I would like the pepperoni baked more.

Everybody in Cumberland county grew up off big johns. If you had a birthday party as a kid you had big johns pizza there. And that sweet sauce

When I was a child, I used to go to this pizzeria on the weekends. This was in the early 90s. Guys, you have to believe me when I tell you that 1) Party Trays used to be BIGGER than that at Big John's, and 2) They were only $13.
A Saturday evening would comprise of a Party Tray, split between 3 hungry siblings and 2 parents, a round of slurpees from the nearby 7-11, and SNICK on Nickelodeon. We rarely recognize the days of glory as we live them.

Hey J.L. Juupy, you came perilously close to doing the "tip & flip" on that 30 dollar pie. 😅. That would have been a great addition to your "BLOOPERS" reel. BTW - great move by Big John's placing that pepperoni on while in the box. Definitely effective in preventing cupping and GREASE pooling of the slices. Very unappealing to consume. We have family that live there, and we always go to that pizza shop......we used to come up from VA Beach VA, and now that we live in the Hershey Pa area we still come there for the pizza when we are there. I actually travel there from my house the one day to get Big John's Pizza on the way home we stopped and hopeful subs and got a couple of subs for the way home!
