    Hi Skip, I had an old hand guard that I used for the clamping bracket for the handlebars. Then I fabricated a plate out of some 26 gauge sheet metal and mounted to the hand guard mount for the magnetic case to stick to. I know that sounds like a lot but that was the only way I could get it up on my handlebars. I really like the Nelson Rigg case since it completely encloses the phone.
    Hope that helps you out. Thanks for checking out the video!

    Hi. So at about 15min in, your Sena 30K says Mesh Intercom Disconnected, Bluetooth intercom connected.
    If you use your phone app, and delete ALL of the Bluetooth contacts, that’ll never happen again.
    We use the same radios, per your recommendation, and we experienced the same mesh intercom issues. I found an obscure forum where someone suggested deleting all BT contacts, and we haven’t had the issue since.

    • @kcatv9556
      @kcatv9556  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey there, thanks for the tip on the Sena’s I will have to try that out. When we were having the issue, the guy we was riding with connected his phone to his unit via Bluetooth and then that kicked us out and the wife and I were connected to each other Via Bluetooth. The wife and I are connected via Bluetooth so that’s what I assume I need to delete all Bluetooth pairing.
      Thanks for checking out the video and leaving the comment!

    • @voodoo6echo
      @voodoo6echo 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So it’s fine to have your phone paired and connected to your Sena. It’s the Bluetooth contact list within the Senas, from Sena-to-Sena that causes the issue. The Senas have two methods to communicate, Mesh (which works great, and has better range, as well as Bluetooth (from Sena to Sena). It’s the latter that causes issues. My wife, my son, and myself experienced the same issue, where my son and myself would get close enough for Bluetooth, and then they’d disconnect from Mesh. When that occurred, my wife would be kicked from the network. Once I used the Sena app and deleted all Bluetooth contacts/pairings (just to other Senas), it all worked great.
      Thanks for putting in the effort and creating content that spans the gaps from when I don’t have time to ride myself, it helps stave off the ride-cravings. :)

    • @kcatv9556
      @kcatv9556  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup that’s what I gathered from your previous comment. The wife and I have our comms paired Bluetooth like you you and your son. Then when we were riding in the group we were using mash, but when the other guy connected his phone to his comm it kicked out, mash on us and went to Bluetooth.
      We appreciate you checking out our videos!
      We went riding last weekend so should have some fresh ride videos coming out in a week or so.
