    That’s pretty good! Thanks I’m coughing rt now & believe I’ve got another case of darn bronchitis again! I had a bad case on Oct 2023. Felt terrible, but started taking 3 specific On-Guard oils, lemon, lavender & peppermint & use 1 drop each, rub into my palms & cup my hands over my mouth area & breathe in as deeply as I possibly could & hold it in there for up to 3-5 secs. Exhale & repeat til my hands are rather dried up. Repeat till cough has slowed down & I’m more comfortable & can breathe without triggering a cough. Now it’s Jan & I’m hit again, & it’s going into Feb & I’m still having symptoms but I’m not feeling too bad. Don’t wanna feel crapy either! Am listening to the best Drs. for the best & most helpful advice & precisely how to get rid of it as quickly as possible. Just listening to find out who I’m gonna really refer to. Jotting things down just in case needed.

I had a physical & im devastated with my lab results. I also have NAFLD & high CO2... it's too much to comprehend esp when im waiting to hear what to do next....not sure if Mucinex DM will be wise to take?? The wheezing has stopped, but not the cough & muscus esp worst at night☹️

    • @dr.lindsaymarie
      @dr.lindsaymarie  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you. Sorry you are not feeling well. With NAFLD it is best to check with your doctor about which over-the-counter medications would be safe for you. Something that can help with the mucus is taking a hot shower and getting some extra steam to try to cough up the mucus. The more you can get it out, the better. Hope you feel better soon! ❤️

    I went to a pulmonologist in 2019 complaining of persisting coughing and shortness of breath when going for walks, he diagnosed me with acute bronchitis and gave me an inhaler and antibiotics.
    My shortness of breath never went away completly since then when going for walks, and 2 days ago I developed a non productive cough that seems to come from behind my left nostril.
    I also sneeze like more than 10 times one a row every day, could al this be allergies?. I also use an sleep apnea machine since last year.

    I tested positive for covid on 6/15 and initially I had dry cough. However during last 5 days my cough changed to wet and I have been continuously doing hard coughing every 2-3 min and every time I cough I have green color mucus which comes out of my lungs in my mouth which I have to spit out. When I wake up in the morning, my nose is stuffy and runny and when I sneeze out, I see yellow colored mucus.
    I was taking Mucinex before.
    I talked to doctor and she gave me Azirothomycin. However it seems it hasn't improved the amount and frequency of mucus/coughing.

      If over-the-counter medications are not helping a prescribed steroid medication or an inhaler can help. If it’s been longer than 2 to 3 weeks or getting worse she should see a doctor.

      Sometimes it can take a long time for the mucus to fully resolve after an infection. The best thing would be to keep trying to get it out as much as possible. Coughing it out, or drying it up with over-the-counter medications. If you feel worse or sick again follow up with your doctor. 🙏🏼

    • @dr.lindsaymarie

      Covid or other upper respiratory infections can sometimes trigger something known as “reactive airway” which leads to a lingering and chronic cough or sometimes bronchial spasms. If you are having shortness of breath or pain with breathing it is best to follow up with your doctor. 🙏🏼

    Thank's for that video!!! I have since months a super virus infection: Sinusitis, Pharyngitis and Bronchitis. Now I only have Bronchitis. On the beggining I did not take care, cause I went to work some days, it was cold outside. Later I went to the doctor, and started taking care of me. In Christmas I felt even worser with pain in the chest. Since 2nd January I am taking too much care , but the pain is anyway sometimes there, and I start to get impacient. Cough is not there since december. But mucus and the chest pain. The doctor said was a virus, the blood test went well, so my immune system is acting normal. I take ibuprofen, I do inhalations, drink a lot of water, and tea . And I do not know what else to do. Some days I feel really good , ❤others not that much. If you have another advice, I would be very glad to hear it. 😊thank's for the help ❤

      Sounds like you just keep getting sick. Do you work around a large number of people? Especially if it is kids. Is something like AIDS harming your immune system? Do you smoke a lot?
      Wash your hands often and wear a mask. Steam clean your whole house and wipe it down with diluted bleach from a spray bottle. Inspect for mold.
