There is a great recipe u have not made that I love a lot and that’s Japanese white beef stew I think it’s called Japanese white creamy stew and eel sushi that would be so yummy to learn to mank from you guys yum 😋
Aaron… I have been watching your channel for a while now. I must say, you kind of demystified Korean cuisine for me… my kids love it, I love it… and Claire is just great with her tasting bit.. good that you are there… great channel you have created there. Keep it up guys
Thank you for saying that people shouldn't follow your timing on cooking the food You are the first person I have heard saying that, because I tell people that all the time What a lot of people don't realise is, that no 2 stoves, cooking utensils and products are the same So using your own time to figure out if it looks and taste of the food is to one's liking Is all up to the cheff
I made this today and I used it to top steamed rice and a fried egg (and green onions!) and it was delicious! I usually use crispy chili oil for my egg, rice and veggie breakfast bowls but this is an awesome addition to my fridge. Thanks for the recipe!
Aarons advice is always golden just relax😇 i was a bit scared of gochujang, because it is a bit weird smelling at first but trust me, it is a gift from the gods of cooking, thank you Korea for making this gotta love it, and thx Aaron and Claire for this vid😍
Claire's comment at the end, that the bread with the sauce is a bit like bread with spicy bolognese sauce left me wondering, if you could actually make a lasagna with it. That probably would be an interesting italian-korean fusion food. I think I will give it a try once I have made this special Gochujang.

I been making ground beef gochujang for years. here is my recipe. serves 6. 1 spring onion, 1 quarter onion, 1 tablespoon soybean paste, 2 huge tablespoons of gochujang, ground beef, 4 tablespoons of sugar. 4 tablespoons of corn syrup. 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. 1 tablespoon of anchovy sauce. 7 tablespoons of tomato sauce. 2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. 1 cube of frozen garlic, 1 cube of frozen ginger. 1 tablespoon of chicken powder, 1 tablespoon of black garlic vinegar. and a full kettle of boiling water. mix all the ingredients in, then add boiling water, bring to the boil then simmer for 25 mins. you can add either noodles or teokk to the soup. and as much mature cheddar cheese as you dare.
I'm going to do this with some gochujang, for sure. But I just have to say, that's the slickest segue into an ad for Surfshark I've ever seen, and probably the best one Aaron's done yet.
I love your videos Aaron and Claire..I’ve recently started learning Korean ( just to help my memory) . So I think this is why your videos pop up on my feed. I’m on a keto , low carb type of diet..and eat cauliflower rice..so think I will definitely try this sauce..as you don’t seem to need much to make the ‘rice’ more palatable..just a question..is the sauce eaten cold from the fridge? …thank you both
Sounds like a perfect idea! And YES! The sauce is eaten cold from the fridge, but with freshly cooked rice, it kinds of warms up a little bit, delicious!😍

Once again a golden recipe, thank you so much Aaron and Claire! My Gochujang consumption has tripled since I found your inspiring page and half of my friends as well are 'infected' by the 'let's cook with Aaron and Claire' fever. 😍

Dear Aaron, would it be possible to add some information like how to meal prep or if/how you can use your recipies in a microwave? I really wouldloveto prepare some of your recipies for work but don't have much time for fresh cooking during the week. :(
I absolutely loved the bibimbap recipe in your cookbook, the meat sauce was awesome! ... but I'm gonna need to try this version soon, also finally saw how much of the sauce you should mix/try with.
I've been watching your videos for a week or so now. Came across you on TH-cam when searching a hack on homemade tteokbokki. BUT got hooked on your videos. Spice tolerance is something you can train, if you're interested. You just have to eat food that's at the sort of higher end of your comfortable tolerance (so...not so spicy it's uncomfortable to eat, but at the higher end of what IS comfortable, if that makes sense) a bit more often, until suddenly it doesn't taste as spicy as it used to, and then you can move to slightly spicier food and eat that until it doesn't taste as spicy as it used to, and just repeat that until you can comfortably enjoy gochujang (or whatever the goal is) without feeling like it's too hot for you.
