It's like a Franken-mobile. It's green and has sutures all over and was brought back to life! It has spliced in mixed-matched parts. You even flamed it with a torch. Love it!
I thought i was the only one . i had 31 inch tires on mine with ford ranger wheels . I spent many summers up in the Bradshaw mountains of Arizona going places you wouldn't believe. I sure miss that thing
The Gator’s nice. Some friends had a 5 wheeled one. That little red bull still looks young enough to dehorn. I don’t like horns, even when they are playing with you they hurt. I swapped out a 11.5 hp pull start engine with a 14hp electric start on my tow behind trail mower and had to add some franken-wiring to make it run.
They do make a plastic “welder “. A local guy makes some side cash putting all the quads and Gators back together with his set up. Pretty slick and the “welds” stay together.
The turf gater is used on golf courses, engine shuts off when not driving for quietness. You should be able to leave it in gear and just step on gas to go. I have one just like it. Mine has a power dump. Parts are still available, the original tires are more of a balloon type tire. My only complaint is the lack of leg room as im 6'4". Id get another if I could.
That's a pretty nice looking gator. Really dig the roll bar / push bar setup someone made for it. And dang, I do dig the 30's on this thing. Got me thinking about making something like this for my own.
A dry cow patty will burn, but probably not the way most people imagine it. There's really no flames to speak of, but once its lit it will smolder for a very long time. Those Gators are made to work out of. They are way too rough riding to consider it fun. We have a Kubota RTV and its only slightly a smoother ride. I'm pretty sure all the new Gators and Kubotas have an tolerable suspension on them now, however they cost about the same as a stripped down new truck.
Liked your “coming to a theater...” lol. Nice little ride. That would be great to have. Martin will do it I just know it. I suggest you trade up, you might be to tall for that gator. 😉. Enjoyed the cow & bull talk. ~ Texas
EA. Love the new ride, Got to hold onto that. fix it up make a sitting space in the back and use it down the field for hunting deer. You could put a tarp for wind protection and weather. Mobil hunting blind
I think put your bride in the passenger seat and go on a second honey moon.Maybe drive her to Paris.Pr Greece , just put pontoons in the sides for ocean crossings
I do like it Mr EA. I think I could drive from there back to home in north Georgia without incident. I do believe that the constituents of the law might would even envy me and want my autograph on my adventurous endeavor. I also stopped wearing sunglasses for fear of being confused with Tom Cruise, although my teeth aren't as big. And I'm taller.
I love your new buggy. The tires are cool but are about 5 times heavier than the originals and will reek havoc on the steering and suspension parts over time. Don't mean to bust your new ride, just saying.
@@MrBedens yes, it's a 1" straight shaft. The hubs I got were for a tapered spindle so I had to use two different sized bearings. If I remember correctly they came off of a Kawasaki with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern
All I want to know is are you retired?! Always jealous of your videos lol I know I’m not supposed to covet my neighbor but you make it extremely hard not to! Have fun and enjoy all your toys 😁
Thank you for the adventure ! Take care , stay safe and healthy wherever your next adventure takes you ! Doing well here in Kansas .

I had one like that, with push pedal to go, seems like it had no differential lock, I set it free

That's cool. You ought to keep it. Looks like a lot of fun
awesome gator , a refurbish video anywhere ?
Oooooo keep it 😀 groovy sutures 👍 Those are so fun and useful....I vote keep!
I'm a disabled vet and I'd love to have it. I live in east Texas and I'd try to drive it home....
I really like it but it does need seats. That’s a beautiful little bull.
Put spacers to raise it up a little to keep the tires from rubbing !
Yes dry cow patties will burn ! We use them around here once in a while just for fun !
“So I’m good to go now “

My boy has become a mechanic 👍. I'm so proud 😁
I'm driving to see you on it
@@ExploringAlabama we'll have to put a hybusa motor in it first. Not quite fast enough for my taste 😎

Hey EA, that sir is one sweet ride! You just ain't feedin' them cows the right combustibles......
I would own it. It's awesome for working the property for hunting season.
Keep it.
I would take it ! I will not drive it back home as that would be over 1,000 miles ! 😆
Drop the air pressure in the tires down to about 8-10 pounds and it will ride a lot better
it's dropped to almost nothing already
you should get the engine overhauled
Awesome roll bar Awesome Gator...
ya wanna sell the roll bars let me know or post the measurements.....
sold it long time ago
EA keep it and drive it till the wheels fall off
What wheels did you use ? Or what bolt pattern are they?
Not sure sorry

Nice ride!
Would be a blast to drive in the fields!!
How are the front wheels mounted???
???? Hubs
Put pool noodles on the roll bar.
how are the front wheels mounted? i cannot find a hub to fit on mine
I'd like to know the same
@@MrBedens I ended up getting some hubs off of a four wheeler and boring them out to fit some odd sized bearings I got off Amazon
@brandon goodner awesome. I have a lathe and mill. It's just a straight shaft in the front correct?
