John Deere Gator 4x2 Front End Rebuild (Part 1)

  • Rebuilding the front end with oem components from John Deere. In this video we remove both spindles and install new king pins, bushings and associated hardware. Discovered the tie rod ends need replacing along with steering boot.

    Nice fast, simple descriptive video. Thank goodness you are not one of those guys that severely over-explains what you’re doing. I bought a nice aftermarket set of tie rod ends with grease fittings from an eBay store. I have two TS Gators to upgrade with them. Thanks for your video.

    Nice video... highly recommend gloves. Latex is my preference because I get a "true" feel of whatever project I'm working on. JD 825i or my Z355e Zero turn or my 22" J21 or my ::::drum roll::: 3032e Tractor.

    Nice video, you are the first gator 4x2 with the original brush guard. I am trying to fabricate the guard since is no longer available. Would you be willing to help an old man with measurements of the brush guard for me to fabricate?
