This is my dream vehicle for what I do which is equipment for a HS football team. The bed would absolutely be phenomenal moving everything from where we store it to the sideline especially cause the torque for going up a slope opposed to the electric cart we are currently using
I just bought a used TX 4 X 2 gator and was told it was a 2010 model but it is identical to this one. It only has 135 hours on it and looks like a new one. Sadly it did not come with a owners manual so your video helped a lot. How many years did they make these? So far only the fuel gauge is not working so Ill be getting to that soon. My ID sticker has a DOM # on the bottom right that seems to go along with the past 2nd owner.
Is this a difference between a 2018 and a 2023 TX Turf Gator? I’m asking you this because we have 2018 TX Turf Gators at my job. But we are getting new 2023s very soon. I just want to know if they is a difference with the 2023s especially with the engine.
So there are two large bolts on either side on the inside of the box and then there are bolds that run along the bottom of each side on the outside of the box. once those are removed you will have to disconnect the taillights and remove the tailgate. It is a pretty simple process! Let me know if you have any trouble. Thank you for watching!
I own one of these and they are great for work. They barely use gas. Very low maintenance for a utv. Easy to get in and out of. Huge, low dump bed that makes loading much easier. They do ride bad. You will feel the bumps in this thing. They also look a lttle goofy. All in all i would give this thing a 10 for what it is. Just a dependable working utv and nothing else,
me and my dad use our gator ts on our farm for utility and some off roading. it does do very good going over bumps and going up hills. not as good as my grandma’s gator xuv 825i, but it still works for that. so i wouldn’t say it is just for flat ground.
Great Video on this and the z920 that I own, I also got the App you mentioned. Do you have a video on how to change the oil and service the TX4x2 Great channel .
I m at full throttle and it’s not shifting to the next gear. What’s is wrong with my TS 4x2 gator? Is it possible the primary or secondary clutch or both of them have to be replaced?
Well these machines have a CVT Transmission so they do not have gears. The max speed is also only 20 mph. I'm not sure if I am answering your question fully. Let me know if I can help more. Thanks for watching!
Mine is just like that one but it dosent have taillights. I can’t find any light kits for it. A dealer wanted 1100 dollars to put taillights on it. I suspect the dealer I bought it from took the taillights off for another machine
Yes you can. There are a couple of different front blades available. I would definitely recommend tire chains as well. Good question and thanks for watching!
Hey Brent, love the videos really appreciate you reviewing everything John Deere it really helps with purchasing discussion. With the TX 4x2 does the front hood open? And is the compatible with turn signals? Thank you so much!
Doing oil changes on these are kind of a bitch. The oil filter is wicked pinched between the transaxle and engine. Please dont over tighten the filter on them.
Thank you for the feedback! I am working on this. I get stuck on things like this. My other go to is "guys" haha! Thanks again and thanks for watching!
🥵Where do I start? Oh, the Good...I love my TX...since January 2021. Ok, the Bad,... It would have been most useful for a couple of pointers on Maintenance... Show that Oil Drain Plug & cheat for access to oil Filter..., and Show that fuse box located behind the brake pedal...Show what using the differential lock does when left on while steering... Comment on how darn fuel efficient these are...rarely do I put Gas into that tank...I'm using on the farm every day...Amazing. Oh, and they GO>> Twenty MILES per hour....(Any more than "1 mile an hour" becomes MILES per hour....(plural). (All you midwest folk do this >)... Thanks for your time...and don't get MAD,...instead LEARN something from Constructive Criticism!! And let's see what I could do for you...I know...email me, and I'll send you the required pair of Green Underwear....absolutely required for all of us John Deere Gearheads!! Have a Good One, AskTrannyMan

I have one just like this with electric box. Love it! Wondering how do you take the sides off the box?

How much motor oil goes in a 2 by 4 John Deere Gator I need to know right away please
It depends on the engine. Do you know what engine yours has?
hey is there any way i can get an vest like what you have on my Size is X-large
Have you done a walk-around/review of the Gator TE Brent? Would love one.
I have not done one yet, but that is a great idea. I will put it on the list! Thanks for watching!
I have a 2005 Gator 4x2 TX. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket rear shock replacement? Thanks.
This is a good question. I would like to know too so hopefully somebody knows something.
How fast does it go?
Mine is just like that one but it dosent have taillights. I can’t find any light kits for it. A dealer wanted 1100 dollars to put taillights on it. I suspect the dealer I bought it from took the taillights off for another machine
Can you plow snow with this Gator?
Yes you can. There are a couple of different front blades available. I would definitely recommend tire chains as well. Good question and thanks for watching!
will i mean can you put an weather in closer on the gator
Yeah you can add a cab or canopy to these.
@@WesternEquipment ok cool thanks
Can you please make a video on how to make the gator faster
Haha I would, but I think it would be frowned on by John Deere. Thanks for watching!
How do you access the battery?
There is a removable panel under the passenger seat. Good question since i failed to mention that in the video. Thanks for watching!
Can you do a installation of doors and the front and back glass
We will do some of these installs on different gators so stay tuned and thanks for watching!

Yes the front hood does come off and yes you can add turn signals. I'm glad I could help you out and thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment Does the hood open or do you have to take it off? Thanks
Do a review on the ts
I will get it on the list. Thanks for watching!
yeah

Thanks for the advice for everyone and thanks for watching!
saber precios
"Operators Station" wtf....
This is a good example of me using too much technical jargon haha! Thanks for watching!
10k for a bare bones machine?
No, they are usually quite a bit cheaper than that. If I said 10K I had misspoken. Thanks for watching!
What's the HELL is your deal with "Seat Belts"????
I just like to make sure people are being as safe as possible. Thanks for watching!
Maybe its me but Brent have you lost weight?
Not sure after all that good food from Thanksgiving and Christmas, but hey I’ll take it!
Good review but you said “this machine” way too many times. It was actually distracting
