4½ Days Bikepacking Dorset and Devon - Part 1 - Wimborne to a field near Axminster!

I took a week off and decided to spend a few days traversing the hills of Dorset and Devon armed with my new OEX Bushpro Bivvi
The 240 mile route takes me from Wimborne, Dorset along the NCN 2 to Axminster and onto the East Devon Trail......
There is a wide range of easy gliding gravel, quiet country lanes and stunning singletrack descents to gnarly uphill hike-a-bike on slippy rutted bridleways and traffic infested A roads, this route has it all. Not forgetting, of course, the forever changing vistas that keep on getting better!

What started out as an idle thought became a reality! I thought it would be a good idea to cycle 60 miles to the start of a hilly infested East Devon Trail.... what could possibly go wrong? I hope you enjoy it ;-)

Had to look up Whitchurch Canonicorum loads of trails around there what appealed to me was Hells Lane😂
I really do think you need to look at your fueling and diet I’m sure there must have been loads of healthy stuff in that farm shop lol.

Haha, yep this route was full of beautiful little villages. There were some surprises along the way good and bad! The farm shop I talked about in the vid was mainly packs of stuff ie 5kg of this and 1kg of that, not really easy to lug about. I'm sure I could have gone healthy but hey I'm on me holibobs haha!!!
