Everything about the part was top tier. In terms of aesthetics and keeping everything in top shape they make the US Disney parks look like Six Flags. Incredible high quality themeing!
I think this is the optimal version of the show; it blends elements of the original with World of Color and Illuminations. Also, the dragon is much more impressive here, as it essentially has to appear from and disappear into the water through the magic mirror. It's a shame that this version is going away.
I'm going to have to disagree about the dragon. While the head through the mirror effect is cool, it loses some style points for giving Maleficent "water wings".
I really love this show. Unfortunately i lost my copy, my fault i didn't restored it well. It was from 2011 anyway. But i am happy seeing this again. Thank you, you captured it well.
I was there two weeks ago, but due to a typhoon, causing a huge thunderstorm to cause a bit of flooding and power to flicker, unfortunately, the fireworks and the parade and all were canceled, and the park closing early.. I was deeply saddened...
No wonder this version of Fantasmic! didn't last. The pacing feels odd and it's missing something that the Disneyland and even the Hollywood Studios versions have that makes them so special.
This was pretty good... but nothing compares to the original show. This reminds me more of world of color and become more about showcasing Disney films then what fantasmic is actually about. It’s a great show.. but nothing compares to the original imo. The dragon only has a head here- a tad disappointing after you’ve seen Murphy at DLR
TwilightLink77 and the Anaheim Dragon is better than the Orlando dragon. Also on a totally unrelated note the lights and fireworks don’t seem to be choreographed very well to the soundtrack in this one, which is something the US versions seem to do much better
I think the Tokyo Disney sea version of fantastic is really unique and since the lagoon in the center of Tokyo Disneyland doesn't have an island that the characters can perform the show from mickey mouse performs the opening the battle with the Disney villains and the finale from the top of a telescoping tower shaped like his wizards hat that house the screens for the animated scenes depicted in the show the water fountains and the fireworks launchers and when mickey mouse fights the Disney villains I think it's a nice touch to the scene when the villains including maleficent in her dragon form emerge from the magic mirror

I feel like there wouldn’t be enough room for all that stuff even with a big body of water there, also the main park actually took a lot of the stuff here and added it to the main show
Thank god walt Disney world haven’t copied this take on fantasmic. The ending in Hollywood never fails to give me goosebumps, this version however ends with my greater disappointment
