Master plumber installs crown!
A little pipe dope goes a long way to fill those miters!
Crown install ---> 23 ga Pin Nailer for the win. no glue-pin nail corners also holds awesome and only leaves a needle size hole to fill (I have done literally Thousands upon thousands of feet of cabinet crown that way)
Same. I'll use glue for the larger profiles I hang sometimes
I noticed when you cutting that 1/2" wide material on your shop table saw, your outfeed table is low on the far side by at least 1/2". The drop-off of long material when the cut is finished in that situation COULD lead to a possible kick-back. Shim up the far end of the outfeed table to level.
Call the cops!
have you ever run a table saw in the field? ever?
Pro here. Cut a slight bevel on the end of the crown where it meets the wall so you have the sharp corner butting to the wall. This sharp corner can be pushed into the drywall slightly to give a tight fit.
Great job with the crayon. I’m sure those skills were honed early in kindergarten. HandyOn!
Great job Handy 👏👍 Crown makes my brain hurt 😆 That a 16 gauge nailer? 🤔
18
@@TheHandyman1 ohh awesome, thanks thats the size I have too 👍
My wife says the same, always nice to have extra wood.
Mine says just learn to use what you got
When cutting crown molding always take a RCH each cut till it fits!
A red one? Ha Ha Ha
I’ve never seen crown moulding on cabinets; must be a regional thing.
Mind-bender cutting that stuff for sure. I’ve got a few cuts coming up for something myself. It’s been a while, so I need to get my brain in that mindset again.
Maybe a sheet of cardboard or paper when gluing on their brand new countertops?
Dear god how could he have gotten this far without you
How do the home owner's "love" their new kitchen floor, cabinets and counter tops? I think out turned out beautifully. The moulding really dresses the whole kitchen up a few notches! Actually a whole lot of notches ; )
LOL. "I've done this... a lot." Me and you both man.
In tight spaces, I have used a right angle attachment on drivers before to make those screws happen. I also glue for added stability! Thanks Handy
I mean, the sawing looked pretty good to me. Seems safe, more so with the splitter installed. I'd use a longer push stick in case it caught somehow, but I go overboard. However, I do love my fingers :D
looks pretty good, precision like that be what nuther buck a foot? :-) I never seen anyone lay molding so clean and tight, "no spackle required" .. lol, had too . . .
If that was a car fender, it probably could be buffed out! Thanks! Handyman
Try a wet cloth on top of the dent, and iron over the top this gets out dents in timbers 👍🏻
Master Electrician installs crown moulding!
Hi ho Hi ho its back to work we go . . .
Should just shove those cabinets and crown tight to the ceiling unless there’s lighting on top.
The tightest I've ever seen , i finished that thought while watching
Winter was good to you HM..... I see you gained a few. 😉
Omg. They're keeping the pink walls 🤦♀️😬
Sounds like everythings getting painted and caulked he said. Shame they didnt paint 1st, woulda been easier
Get cash for gash then steam it out… keep $ / discount home owner.
Made ole boy sweat lol
cabinet molding? man you live in a nicer trailer park than mine, must be HOA?
I can't believe you put all your weight right in the middle of that narrow strip in front of the sink, all I can say is you got lucky. Step anywhere else on the counter, but never ever there.
🇺🇸🤘 Heck Yeah Handy Dandy 🤘🇺🇸
OMG I am late.
better late then never.
You retiring at 50?
Ain't no way I could work on the floor like that
what about the shim behind that end cabinet handyman??? Im losin my mind! Barrrrggghsdfasdfasdfgasg
I noticed this too. Probably a future video for finishing them out I imagine.
You don’t make enough to purchase a stand with a 10 inch saw your killing yourself especially trying to show people how to do crown
you must be new.
