Your video has been the most helpful. Thank you for showing the calibration part at the beginning no one else was doing that and my cuts weren't going through.
Thank you for posting this! Your video was the best instruction I found, not just telling me what to do, but exactly where to find the options/settings I needed. Also, I love that music!
Love your video format! Quick intro, to the point yet descriptive steps and ending. I followed these directions but still am not getting the cut all the way through, new blade, calibration etc too! Any ideas? I did the extra pass thing like 10 times too! arrrr
what type of basswood are you using? it can depend on what type... I tried a few and only the one I Get at Joanns is the only one that cuts. its like a soft type of wood
no the setting for bass wood 1/16mm is preset.i usually come and check on it a few times. I just did a project again and this time I stopped it at 7 passes. so you can stop it whenever. otherwise you would have to make your own custom cutting setting
no it doesn't have the knife blade sadly. I have had a cricut explore before, and I have managed doing that with the highest setting, and "more" pressure and it worked for shapes like a heart but wouldn't do so well once I started doing words and such. I don't know why

Please help me :( I’m cutting basswood and I’ve wasted so many sheets! My machine doesn’t cut over the same line - I’ve calibrated it but it’s still happening!! Please help :( what do you suggest
I'm not sure why that Is happening. make sure the cutting mat is the strong one and brand new, and all the edges are taped down and the star wheels are moved to the side
@@rachelcogley25 no, you'll be doing that forever. the needle just won't push that far in. I have tried many materials and thats the only kind that I found works, and even with this one 10-15 passes for a small simple word it takes a while

Great tutorial! The background music was very enjoyable🤌😍
Thank You for the quick & easy to follow video. My project is printing right now!
you're welcome (:(:
The easiest one I’ve watched so far. Thank you ☺️
This video addressed the exact questions I was looking for 👌🏼
yay! I'm so happy it helped you!
More than the craft love the music
i love how you could make literally anything you want with ease by using Cricut 🤯🤯
what kind of knife do you use? I bought a new knife blade and im still having problem with cutting wood. Any suggestions ?
I used the deep cut blade. I think it mostly depends on what type of wood you use
Awesome tutorial! May I ask if and how you can reuse the rest of that sheet of basswood? Thanks so much ☺️
I just used the rest of mine for small name tags to put on christmas stockings. The rest i cut out little shapes for my kids to paint/paint with.
This is super helpful what is the name of the font call please 😊
Awesome tutorial
thank you!
Hey what did you use to stick the wood lettering on the wood circle?
mod podge glue. I still have the circle and its still on it. you can also use gorilla glue wood glue from lowes/Home Depot/walmart etc

Also, does it have to be a specific type of cricut or does it all depend on the blade and I can just put a wood cutting blade to any cricut?
cricut maker is the only one that you can put the special housing for the knife
The basswood can be any kind or a specific one
For cricut to cut through, it has to be 1/16 thick and “soft”
Thank you, very well explained!
what font did you use ?
Hi, I'm new to this and was wondering where do you buy your basswood at? Also, did you cut the circles too or bought? Thanks
I bought circles amzn.to/3ju3hW3
Thank you 😊 amazing info
did you use your cricut pen for words in black color? Thanks!
no I used cricut infusible ink, vinyl can also be used. I have a video tutorial of that part (: th-cam.com/video/4uqCvAbwUVk/w-d-xo.html
Which font is the hello?
How do you know where to put the white things back
Love this!! Did you stain the wood to make it darker?
no I left it as is, I wonder if me applying heat to it made it darker
Are we given the option of telling machine how many passes? First time doing this. I was not given the option.

Do I need just need blade or housing also to cut bass wood?
housing as well
Omg I love how you explain can you do a video how to make a heart lazer cut 🥺🥺🥺 please
Awesome video! What did you use to write the word “world” and the leaf?

loved it! one question, what did you use to glue on the cutout (hello) to the circle wood
mod podge glue (: use a foam brush to apply it. after that place like a heavy book on it, and it dries pretty fast
You can use a hot glue gun
@@ericplays2021 yes!! idk why I didnt do that lol

no, cricut maker only
What font style are you using?
heartbeat, but I made one "l" smaller than the other one
Why does mine come out chipped? And I dont see a basswood option. I tuink i went w chipboard...maybe thats why it chips😅
Thank you
How did you make the « world »?
th-cam.com/video/4uqCvAbwUVk/w-d-xo.html
why did you move the wheels on the right side, Cricut doesn't ask unless you use chipboard 2.0mm?
this basswood is "soft" so the little wheels will leave indents, and I don't want that on my cut project
Can you link the basswood? !

Where’s the link to the basswood?
oh sorry, its from Joanns fabric store. they dont sell it online. its only sold in stores
What font are you using
milcandy
Where did you buy the basswood and wich brand you use it?
@0:51 is the brand
Their brand website or sometimes joanns has it. It has to be 1/16” anything thicker won’t cut.
@@Zhannastar Could you use a thicker one and just put the cycle through again?
