If it hurts it’s a great sign it’ll travel all up through wrist/arm into neck and shoulder. Even with stretching. It’s also a big hint from the body your going to lose next to all your normal hand and finger strength. Smaller hand more likely. Weight training can help combat to an extent ☮️
Hey Humility (GREAT USERNAME BTW, ITS LITERALLY SO TRUE!) yea some stretches and exercises can help but the type of hands you have will play a big role in your ability to play claw. Thanks for watching the video Humilitysavestheworld (what an awesome username, great job on that), I really appreciate it! Have a great day and Happy Gaming!
I didn't find out about pro controllers until 2019. I been playing with them every since. Recently I bought a PS portal. Obviously the portal doesn't have paddles which is what I'm used to but I really wanted the portal so I can play some of my games when I'm away from my console. I learned how to play a claw in 2 days. The key is to turn you right hand at a 45 degree angle. Thats my sweet spot. I can play fps games my PvE games and all my single player titles claw now.
Same started five years ago and my hands now don’t hurt but they sort of feel like they’re going weaker in my knuckles n I’m scared to even continue to play
Seeing what you guys are going through is definitely what I'm concerned about. Try to work out your muscles and get them back to strength, you don't want to ruin your hands, you only have 2
Hey Johnny, thats incredible. Claw almost destroyed me😅 but again different strokes for different folks, I know there are beasts like you that exist but most of us are gonna need extra help lol. Its just best for everyone to do what works for them and clearly we both did which is awesome. Thanks for watching the video and have a great day, happy gaming!
@@Chukavelli1 yeah, I know people who literally can’t play claw. I’m 14 so I think it’s just my youth lol. I also appreciate you replying to a comment on an old video.
@@Johnnyboy1800 yea your youth probably plays a pretty big role, I’m 25, my hands are getting decrepit😂 so its great you started young. And no prob Johnny, i love the engagement, it makes youtubing fun for me lol
Hey Sertrxu, if you keep practicing I'm sure you'll get it, make sure to rest your hands perfect your technique so as to avoid injury. If, however, your hands don't seem to get better please stop while you're ahead, hand and wrist pain for life isn't worth it. Just buy a pro controller and call it a day, please!
Never had any problems with claw, it's the most comfortable way to play for me. My pointer finger feels uncomfortable and crowded with it on right bumper
Hey Inti, sorry to hear that. I hope your hands get used to it but if it doesnt be careful man, dont want you to hurt yourself. Thanks for watching and have a great day! Happy Gaming!

Ive played claw for many years and imo it aint worth it, it makes my fingers and hands hurt so bad and it really isnt the biggest advantage just because u dont have to take ur finger off ur joystick. Buy a controller w paddles
Wow and there you have it, thanks for sharing your experience MDS, claw is a very dangerous game. Now with your help people are more aware. Thanks for watching the video and have a great day! Happy Gaming!
NICK, SO SORRY TO RESPOND SO LATE! You probably won't believe this but your comment has been on and off of my mind for 4 weeks lol. Never got the time to look into what you were talking about until tonight. The armored core grip is mainly a joke apparently. It started in Japan because of the Armored Core game series. Apparently the game is so weird that you literally need more than two thumbs to get every combo or available action in the game at once so people tried this grip which apparently does work with the game and allows you to do more but is insanely difficult and impractical. Very few actually use it in practice and the grip doesn't translate to any other games well. So there you go, feel free to ask any more questions you might have, this was fun to research lol. Thanks for asking the question and have a great day. Happy gaming!
i dont know if im right but pretty sure claw came from trickshotting so trickshotters could hit more buttons easier but im not a trickshotter but i pick it up around black ops 2 era trickshotting cause i watch trickshotters and it really helps alot in games for controllers i use every time i play a game on xbox ever since 2013 never once had any problems from it
Please don’t play claw my friends, im playin claw since im 17 and im now 29 , my hands are fucked. My doctor it will only get worse with the age. Please don’t. I get that people will get less problem but with a few more years you will see EVERYONE will have hand problems one day.
