Your living in your self-made paradise ✨️
marvelous food garden. Self reliance is the only way to live. Awesome video.
Dried cinnamon leaves can be ground into a powder and used as a spice in cooking. The powder can be added to baked goods, breakfast cereals, and smoothies for a boost of flavor and aroma
The way in which you explain your methods, with so much patience and knowledge really is enchanting. Thank you for sharing your garden and what your doing to keep it growing 😊
Thanks very much from Libreville, Gabon.
The cinnamon leaves are commonly used in Indian curries (called as tejpatta in Hindi)

Earth angel. God bless you
Luscious green forest. Pineapple and pumpkin ground cover attract snakes. I’m terrified to see you walking in thin sandals. Are there no snakes in your garden?
@53peace,
🙏🌺 in the place she lives, that is Auroville, Tamil Nadu, south India, there are snakes, among which the 4 poisonous ones : saw scaled viper, Russel viper, krait and cobra ...they are usually found in places where there is no human interference and plants grow wild ...i do not know if there are snakes in her food forest, as i have never been there ...🙏🌺
@@annavespa4233 thanks for your reply. I was born and grew up in Chennai for 23 yrs before moving to UK.Sometimes we saw snakes in our garden which was very lush. Once it was a cobra which was terrifying and Kids weren’t allowed in the garden at night which is why I’m astonished at Sara diving among the pineapple and pumpkin plants. Maybe the weather change has reduced the dangers of snakes. I don’t know as I left India 40 plus yrs ago. 🙏💐
@@53peace
🙏🌺 earlier nature was growing wild everywhere and there were many snakes in auroville area ...with much human interference : clearing parts of the forest for making roads and buildings etc in the many communities, presently snakes have left the town area and live in places where nature grows undisturbed by human activity ...i was for sometime in a place near auroville, there were fields around and places where nature was left undisturbed, there i saw many snakes, even very near to my house ... they were more visible in summer, as with the rising temperature, they were coming out of their hiding places in the fields and going towards humid areas near houses (i saw one in a place near an overflowing water tank) ...i suppose there are snakes near Sarah's food forest (if i remember well i heard there is a canion near), but perhaps they come out at night only, since during day they would be disturbed by the much work she does in her garden ...🙏🌺

@@MyFoodForest what should be the perfect size of land for forest gardening? I am planning for 4500 sq yrd.
An amazing garden! I wonder how you deal with insects… and other creatures… do snakes visit the garden💐
I love your food forest. What's the minimum size to build one?
Beautiful forest garden. Any concerns of snakes?
Hi, are your oranges sweet? Are you using a sour orange rootstock and grafted a sweet variety to it?
Very Beautiful my sister ❤️
Hello Sarah.. your work is amazing dear..I love your recipes.. I tried and enjoyed..my mom is huge fan of your work.
R u using compost in your garden..?
Hi Sarah, Thanks for the video. Its so relaxing. I’m planning to start a garden and am apprehensive for one reason, snakes. I understand its part of the ecosystem but give me some tips to overcome this please. Thank you 🙏
hey Kavitha! you should start a garden despite of wild animals. I am also apprehensive of snakes, but the fact that they are not animals that attack ,but probably are more afraid of you than you are of them. They also feel the vibration of the ground, so if you walk around they will go and is very unlikely to step on one.You can also wear boots to protect yourself...I should probably do too.
Hi Kavita.. you can grow snake repellent plants like Nalliswari and telliswari..
@@MyFoodForest Sure Sarah, I’ll implement this one. thanks
@@shaktipulaparty1010 Do you mean Siriyanangai . Thanks for the kind suggestion
