*Super compact and easy to carry and travel with accessories for the electric **Generater.Systems** .I was worried this was going to be bulky or hard to use.Hooks up easy and charges quickly*
@christinehoxie3691 mine also have the white shaft you can use or use the bracket for the wall. I'm surprised it didn't come in the kit, thanks for watching
@@cirespeedreviews there was no other alternative. I did get it mounted and it’s working so I’ll keep it. I will probably get another system for other door and will order a different panel for that door
If you plan on making several more videos down the road, you really should consider investing in a GoPro camera that you can mount on your head or a hat. This way you won’t be struggling with one hand to handle the products which makes the videos MUCH longer and less appealing to watch. Otherwise I am satisfied with the information that I got from the video. Thanks
Hey thanks for the suggestion👍 I have a go-pro style camera, might give that a try, if I like the results I'll upgrade to a a actual go-pro.. Thanks again 👍
Impressive video especially doing it 1 handed! Bravo!! How do you get the gray template plate off to use it to mark on wall where to drill? Mine wont come off> Does it cost extra to add the camera if we already have a ring doorbell video subscription? Thanks!
Oh thanks so much 👋 glad this was helpful.. The grey plastic template comes off when you remove the center bolt/ screw, once you take the screw ourt you'll have to use a flathead screwdriver and pry it apart. I believe to add the camera you'll just go to the app and look for add a device, well at least for the camera app you can find the add a device option. Not sure 100% if there is an additional charge to monitor it. Sorry I can't help much to answer that specific question. Thanks for watching and if there is any other issues don't hesitate to ask 👋😎
That actually is a great question. The solar panel is optional, it just makes it convenient so that you don't have to take the battery out to charge it when it get's low. The solar panel does a great job maintaining the battery and keeping the battery charged. You could use it without the solar panel but you would have to take the battery off and between charging you would actually be without the security cameras. Just makes it convenient and fail safe from running low on power. But again.. Great question ♥️
@leebg852 I believe it is the same battery. The only difference between the two is that one is utilizing the solar panel and the other a wired plug for power, but I would verify this with Ring.
I am sorry I didn't cover that. I just mounted on wood. I am sorry I can't be of help, but try meeting the mount to the masonry marking it with a marker then drill a pilot hole into the masonry then finish the hole with the drill bit, then use the plastic white bits..sorry don't remember the name of them.. But tap those in with a rubber mallet the finally place the mount and start tightening up the fasteners till it's snug. I hope this helps but not sure.
The cameras are still working as well as when I first installed them. I never have to recharge the batteries. The solar panels do the job with no problems. On the phone application, you can monitor the batteries on each camera, and I never have an issue with them running out of power. The cameras are clear and catch just about every movement. I really like the system and will recommend yourself or anyone if you are on the fence on getting the set, go ahead and purchase it, it's a great system. 💯
That is a excellent question unfortunately the only way to rotate it is to manually rotate it, it does not automatically turn, but I wouldn't doubt their being a mechanism you can purchase from a third party market that can convert this into a rotating camera. Again.. Great question👍
I got the same cameras but I got the black solar panels my camera says it’s offline after connecting and sitting out all day I don’t know what the deal is
Maybe a software issue, I am not sure. Try deleting the camera from your ring app in the general settings, and then set it back up once again. If that doesn't help, go to the help section I hope this helps
Yes, it won't work on solar power alone., the solar panel just help keep the battery charged but can't run the camera without the battery. You can run the camera without the solar panel but not vise versa.
Oh yeah.. That is a little tricky, it game me issues to put back also.. Try dabbing a little wd40 on a napkin, then applying that to the back on the clamp, help it get into place, dont overuse the wd40, just a tiny bit and dont spray directly to it, just spay on a paper towel first then damp the clamp a little with it. It should cooperate, just be patient.
Wow you need a tripod or a camera op! Are you getting a full charge with that solar panel mounted under an eve? They are intended to be mounted in full sunlight. Not much of a setup as it is a "what not to do when installing"
Yeah It was quite difficult recording most of the video 😅 I do have a tripod now, but not at the time. The battery stays charged where I placed it, and I don't agree on your claim of it being a "what not to do" , it has been helpful for so many, but sorry if this hasn't been much of a help for you.
It’s not really a stick up cam. It doesn’t “stick” to anything. They should call it screw cam LOL. I really thought it meant it would stick to the wall or something. I like them. I got one. Gonna get more.
Thanks for the feedback.. You are not the first person to suggest that I should have included this step.. It's probably not helpful for you now but I may just make another video and add that video link at the end.

You're right, light weight and fully capable.
Thank you for this video. The solar panel I got has a 6 inch shaft I don’t like it might send it back yours looks better than the one I got

It just slides off, don't use a flat head
Silly question 🙋♀️. If there’s a solar panel, why must you charge the battery separately?

cute how you raised your hand
😁I know right 👏
So the panel won’t power the camera without the battery?
@@Doak54 No, you will need the battery, it will not power the camera with just the solar panel. But excellent question.
I have question, the stick up battery camera is it same with stick up camera solar version? Thank a lot.

How do I remove the circle rubber mount so I can spot it on my masonry? No one shows you how they just skip that part. I'm afraid I'll brake it

If I may ask, how do you like it now? You've used it for some time.. are you satisfies? How well are battery and solar panel holding up?

Does the camera rotate ?

Mines wouldn't go down flush but very helpful vjdeo
Glad this was helpful, thanks for commenting, but what part isn't going down flush? The solar panel or cap for the battery?

You didn’t even show how it plugs into the back of the camera

Turn off the background music, very annoying !! couldn't wtch the video..

I tried to lower it to lowest volume, maybe I need to find something a little softer. Thanks for the input
