    3)Weighted full split squat
    4) Reverse Squat
    5)weighted one leg back extension
    6) Reverse nordic
    7) regular Nordic
    8) Squat
    In order one push one pull, waiting 10 minutes between push pull sets.

      I'm 46 too, trying to work with a similar program, I do a bit of jump rope and swimming too, wish I'd been doing this from day 1 tbh, i think it helps restore a bit of balance to your body after skating makes it a bit wonky over time. Keep on keeping on brother!

    This is fantastic stuff! I’m nearly 50 and am still quite active. I never cared for the gym rats and was sure I’d never workout, but about six years ago I was exposed to a few exercises and slowly got into it. I then put on quite a bit of muscle and even had some injuries from overdoing it. Haha. But I feel so much better now that I’m working out and am always trying to encourage friends to get in there. If you want to stay young there is no better way! 🙏❤️

    Man, before my surgery on my knee, I was a senior in football and was really fit. So skating just felt way easier for me and now lookin at myself now not fit as I once was bc of recovery, it sucks seeing myself weak and out of breath so easily. • @michaelbouranis9709
      @michaelbouranis9709 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Ken! Make sure you do the power first (vert jumps), and then prioritize the bigger movements first (split squats and RDLs). You can finish with a superset (going back and forth between) of the tib raises and 1/4 get ups for time-sake

    Cool video! Do you reckon you could do one for jumping higher. I lost a bunch of weight recently and put on some muscle and I’m noticed on kickflip and tres I can pop them higher than I can actually jump to catch them

    • @ijustlike0010

      Heel raises are good for that!

    • @michaelbouranis9709
      @michaelbouranis9709 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Daniel! Mike here from the vid. Jumping higher is going to be a product of your legs getting stronger in general (so these leg exercises are great, as are tradition leg exercises like squats and deadlifts) as well as learning to turn that strength into power by doing exercises like the Vert Jump here, Box Jumps, Single Leg Jumps, etc. At the end of the day, it comes down to training consistently over time, so I'd suggest trying a basic 2-3 day a week full body program with exercises/weights you're comfortable with, and slowing adding on weight to them overtime!
