Really interesting interview. I've been interested in the topic because I noticed throughout the show that while the costumes were very true to the source material a lot of the clothes they pick up looked to be in pretty good shape, clean whites, bright colors and generally remarkably pristine for 20 to 30 year old pieces in a dirty, post apocalyptic setting (see the green dress). Now I know that it was probably done to highten the decay of those pieces over time, but it had me wondering for a while. I think they could tone it down a bit for season 2 - it got the message across almost too well (again the green dress). While I think they did a fantastic job, I thought it clashed a bit with the waethering on all the other set dressings.
