» WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but in the recent years I have been moving and living a lot in different countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to the nature of my work. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
» MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group bagged the "Gold Medal" in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
» WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

This song was first performed in a TV show KBS Immortal Songs. It was phenomenon and they put it in their 2nd album Mystique. They had concert touring and this video was filmed at their encore concert. Actually this was released as advertisement for the Mystique concert live DVD & Video KIT. (You can also find another video of title song Angel from that same concert released as an advertisement too.)
If you wanna watch the very first performed Bohemian Rhapsody by them, search for "Forestella Queen's best songs" in KBS Jeonju channel. I think you'll love to check their other Queen renditions too.

1. Ko Woorim - Classically trained bass. That's your bias
2. Bae Doohoon - Musical actor
3. Kang Hyungho - rock vocals and also countertenor
4. Cho Mingyu - Classically trained tenor. You mentoned that you love his english, he actually speaks good english that's why his diction is good.
This was from their concert, it was for their album "Mystique". Bohemian Rhapsody was one of the songs in that album of theirs.

I'm glad that you continue your Forestella journey. These guys are amazing and I'm sure Freddie would have been proud of their rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. For very emotional performances I recommend their covers of "Je suis malade" and "If I leave", but you should read the English lyrics first. Their first music video "Save our Lives" (one of their own songs) is also a must watch. 🙂

I’d like to recommend you to check another crossover group from South Korea I discovered recently. Its name is “Forténa” that has a combination of four tenors(I’ve heard it’s the first crossover group with four tenors).
One of the members is a very famous count tenor(His name is DQ Lee and played in lots of operas all over the world).
When I heard their very much first cover song “Neapolis” in a competition program, I had a goosebumps everywhere.
I’m sure you would like it and I’d love to hear your opinion about their singing.
