I watched your forestella playlist about a year ago but I am revisiting it because I love them and your reaction to them so much!
They were individual competitors on a survival elimination show called "Phantom Singer" whose goal was to create a crossover vocal quartet like II Divo. They compete 1 v. 1, then the survivors move on to recruit for duos, then trios... and finally the Quartet. The guy 2nd from the right (Mingyu) won every round and that gave him the chance to recruit the others. Left to right Woorim - Classically trained Basso Profundo Hyungho - Rock Countertenor (zero training until he joined the group) Mingyu - Leader and Classically trained Leggiero Tenor (he and Woorim went to the same school) Doohoon - Musical Theater Actor, Baritenor They are lightning in a bottle. The show has turned out several great quartets, but none have the widespread appeal of Forestella. They continue to enter competitions, put out albums and even toured N. America last year. They intend to keep performing, but they are a man down for the next year+ as their Bass, Woorim, completes his Mandatory Military service. They have done everything from their original K-pop song, "Kool", to their new rock waltz, "Snow Globe" (which seems to be a fanciful retelling of them coming together as a team). They don't believe in genres and fear no style of song.

Their fan basis rooted from classical vocal fans as Phantom Singer audition series was designed for making il Divo from Korea so that's why the audience sat down there.. but this Bohemian Rhapsody brought a lot of new fans from various background like idol fandom or pop, rock fans as well. I think Forestella is the least classical from all the Phantom Singer groups and still they are doing "classical" in authentic pop genre at the same time.
If you wanna see a lil bit more classical from them, My Favorite Things would entertain you in very creative way. If you wanna see more mainstream, Shape of you would amaze you. If you wanna see some moves from them, Smooth Criminal would surprise you.
I can tell you any song from them never fails you. They sang the Sound of Silence, the Scarborough Fair, Time in a Bottle, We are the Champions, Heal the World as well. Every cover will be on your best cover list.
I'll be pleasantly waiting for your next teaction to Forestella! I love your reaction style.

Thanks for the reaction, I really like your reaction style. By the way the man with high notes named Kang Hyung Ho. He can change his voice from high to low quickly. I recommend you to see him sing Phantom Of The Opera ( th-cam.com/video/RUoe1e1nsnQ/w-d-xo.html ) it's basically a duet between a man and a woman, but he sings it alone! You can see how quickly he changes his voice there.

I just had to subscribed. I loved your reaction and you KNOW and LOVE music. Now you don't have to react, that's if you don't want to, but you have to listen to your favourite 'As I live', your 2nd favourite, 'Lazenca, save us'. I downloaded more than 50 videos and saved about 30 of the ones I couldn't download. These guys gave me new life, because I live for music.
